This review is long overdue. We LOVE this gym. My boys have been training Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai here for a year and this is a special place. I am so happy we found Essence and it truly has enriched my kid's lives. Everyone here is excellent.

My kids love this place unfortunately, we only go once a week because of their school programme.But the kids can't wait for Saturday,They love practicing this sport and they are proud of their behavior.Thank you so much for all your hard work .

Started jiu Jitsu this year and this place has been nothing but welcoming, this place is a second family!
Essence BJJ Walnut Creek is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School with a family environment. We focus on developing a healthy lifestyle, confidence, anti-bullying, weight loss, and self-defense skills thru the gentle art. All genders adult classes, kids age 3+ and private lessons are available. We look forward to having you as a member of the Essence BJJ community. We were previously known by Ralph Gracie Walnut Creek.
