“Last Saturday morning, my wife took my daughter to a music class. On the way back home, while using FSD, the car ended up driving toward our neighbor’s side, and when she tried to make a U-turn, she accidentally hit the neighbor’s wall.
Thankfully, no one was injured. When they got home, my daughter was crying. My wife told me she was okay physically, but she was heartbroken seeing the damage to our beloved Tesla. Seeing her in tears honestly hurt me more than the damage to the car. At that moment, I told myself I needed to get this fixed ASAP.
I took a few photos and went to CarStar. I told them I was looking for the most cost-effective solution—I was open to aftermarket parts or even just repairing the dent as-is. Since I didn’t want to go through insurance, I planned to pay out of pocket and just get the car back on the road.
I was expecting a bill around $10K, but they quoted me only $3K—what a huge relief! The team was very professional and took the time to explain the repair options in detail so I could choose what worked best for me.
