“I have waited far too long to write this post because I could not possibly find the words to express how much this place means to me and my family. We had two kids go through this preschool, and as we just finished the last week at Meadowlark because our youngest is off to Kindergarten, we are already missing it. This place is a preschool gem. The teachers have the kindest souls and truly care for each child. Dropping our children off each day to school left us feeling grateful to have such a safe and nurturing place where our children could learn, play and feel loved. The teachers work together so beautifully, and it shows in the day to day activities they set up for the kids to grow, be challenged, and have fun. They have a space in our hearts with warm memories forever ?”

“We LOVE Sunflower and couldn’t be happier having our son attend there. Both the indoor and outdoor classrooms are incredible, with so much to offer the children. Our son has learned so much and will be back this Fall & our other child will start next Spring. The curriculum is age appropriate, immersive and fun.”

“Everyone is kind and friendly. My son started a month ago and is already doing so well. They are a great team and have been lovely to work with, but especially during the transition period. Everyone helped put my worries at ease and took great care of my kiddo to help him acclimate. Throughout the week they do arts and crafts, listen to music, and have a ton of outside playtime, which is his favorite. Thus far it has been a wonderful experience and we are happy with our choice in his care.”

“I grew up Lutheran in the midwest and was looking for a church in Boulder. Pastor Anderson is the real deal, runs a very nice service and relates to every parishioner. Great vocalist/singer! The people here are very friendly and accommodating. I get a very nice feeling inside after visiting Mt. Zion. No matter your religious affiliation, I highly recommend this church.”

“Wonderful preschool and amazing teachers! Every single teacher we've met at dream makers over the years have been nurturing and skilled, and genuinely cared about the well being of the children. The school is also incredibly accommodating and works hard to meet each child's individual needs. Absolutely recommend this school and grateful for the care they've given us.”

“Our daughter has gone here for over a year now starting when she was a year and a half. We especially love the design of the classrooms, indoor and outdoor areas and even the hallways. It’s in true Reggio style with lots of natural elements, beautiful colors and textures with tons of invitation for open ended, child led play. The teachers have always been very caring and thoughtful, and at this age there’s still daily photos and updates on snack/lunch and potty time/diapers.

Of note, I was curious as to why BJS had only 4/5 stars and most of the negative reviews are from many years ago. There are more breaks and holidays where there’s no class during the year than I’d prefer but I’d still absolutely recommend BJS as much as any other Waldorf or Montessori style center.”

“Boulder Waldorf Preschool and Kindergarten is the BEST! Our family wasn't familiar with Waldorf until our daughter started this past fall during the COVID outbreak. The teachers are supportive, caring, good natured individuals who use nature and simplicity to inspire the children. We haven't seen much of the inside classrooms but the glimpses we have seen show a calm classroom with beautiful, natural materials and colors. This has been an exceptionally challenging time with the global pandemic but the school administration has been clear with its directions and very informative when action needs to be taken. I can't recommend this school and the staff enough...our daughter is growing into a confident little person!”

“It should be noted that choosing a daycare is all about fit, and no single situation is likely to work for everyone. With that said, we have LOVED our experience at the Cottage school and have referred another four families. The staff is so caring and feels like a family. If you want daily pics on an app and a franchise, this isn't the place. If you want a connection with the owners and caretakers, then this is what we found for our son.

Note that they provide food, have very good hours (for working parents), and our son loves being here.”

“My toddler is attending this daycare now and I have been happy with the care and attention she gets here. Her teacher Ms. Erin is absolutely amazing and everyone else has been very helpful and kind. My toddler had an accident in her previous daycare and it was so hard for me to trust and start daycare again. However, the care she received here has been amazing and changed my opinion. The level of communication is perfect and everything is well organized. I am amazed with how friendly the environment is. They hang kids' photos everywhere and write about them on the walls which not only teaches my kid that she is valued, it also connects me with other kids in the classroom. I also love the fact that they serve lunch.”
