She gives options that are best for your pet, not her bottom line. Her pricing is fair and her treatment is TOP NOTCH! She is by far, hands down, the ABSOLUTE BEST Veterinarian my wife and I have ever taken our pets to! She has never given bad or incorrect information. She is thoughtful, empathetic, and brilliant in how she cares for animals and treats people. I could go on and on for hours and not fully explain what a wonderful veterinarian and person she is!!! This is so rare in a world of corporate animal hospitals who turn people away because they can't shell out buckets of money to care for their pets.”

My guy and I have really thrown him for some doozies lately, and Dr Herman has taken such a thoughtful, measured approach to figuring out what’s going on and treating him. He really thinks things through and considers them before recommending unnecessary tests, and always takes into consideration what’s best and most minimally invasive. “I recently took my puppy to Dr. Sandel for an exam due to concerns about urinating in the house and loss of appetite. Dr. Sandel was very through and gentle in her examination, getting down on the floor with my puppy so as not to frighten her by putting her on the table. She did lab work which confirmed a urinary tract infection and started antibiotics. She explained options and alternatives and the cost for each choice. She also approved of my suggestion that I start my puppy on a home-cooked diet and provided resources for guidance. Very happy with her treatment plan and "bedside manner." :)”

“Overland is a wonderful place. For all my normal checkups this is where I usually go. Yesterday my dog had an emergency and Dr. P and all the staff went above and beyond to help save my dog’s life. It was the worst day as you can imagine but they were so kind and considerate and made sure that we were well taken care of. I am so grateful for them.
