I recommend downloading the Safeway app as it can save you lots of money. I prefer shopping at night after 8:00 so I can avoid the crowd. They are open until 11:00 every night so that's really convenient for me.

The people at the Safeway go out of their way to make sure your shopping needs are met. The store is clean the employees are friendly and your grocery shopping experience ends up being a highlight of any day.

I come in to get stuff and get out. Your cashiers would rather chat up customers than check them out, thus making other customers wait. I got stuck in two different lanes because both cashiers were screwing around. The third was just as stuck. Self checkout doesn't work for every transaction, including mine.
