“Dr. Mathis and his assistant are the best. And I saw this whole-heartedly. My mom worked for animal health international for 25 years so I grew up with a toooon of large animal vets in my life. I can tell you that Dr. Mathis is fair, he cares about your animals, and he works really hard for all of us. I am so happy I found Mackey Veterinary services. My vet I used for years and years sadly retired and I had a hard time finding another vet I liked. I am so happy that he was referred to me by a friend! He saved my daughter's horse and I am forever thankful because I racked my brain coming up with ways I'd have to explain to my daughter that we lost her horse, but because of Dr. Mathis' knowledge and care, Travis pulled through!”

“We’ve been seeing Dr Schwent for years. Once again, she was a miracle worker. Our dog, Ike was having digestion issues, along with diarrhea for a week. He wasn’t getting any better, so we finally decided that we needed to see Dr. Schwent. She knew exactly how to treat Ike and what medication to prescribe. Ike was finally able to sleep thru the night without waking us up to go potty. Thank you Dr. The following afternoon he had a normal bowel movement and was back to his old self. “Dr Gable and staff are absolutely amazing. Only problem I have is she is so good and popular that it normally takes 3 plus months to get your pet in for an appointment. A critical appointment would be almost impossible. She is probably the best vet we have ever been to. She needs to hire a partner or something. But I also understand not alot of people want to work anymore. Tough position for her to be in. Again..she is so thorough and has unlimited knowledge.”
