“I suffered what seemed to be a critical suspension failure on my way back to Denver from Lake City and called this shop hoping to get the car looked at.

While they were totally booked and my car wasn't actually worked on here, I want to give a huge thanks to Juan for being a catalyst for resolving the problem. In contrast to the first three repair shops I spoke to on the phone, Juan asked me a few questions and then suggested a nearby shop that would likely be able to help me on short notice, rather than just turning me away with no help.

Luckily the problem was simply a missing bolt that was causing my rear sway bar to clang around. If not for Juan's consideration, I may still be stuck in Gunnison looking for a solution. $50 later, I was back on the road with no issues and made it home in time for work.

It's rare to find a business that is considerate enough to help people who are in trouble and expect nothing in return. Can't thank you enough for your help.”

“I am ETERNALLY grateful to Gunnison Towing. My family and I were traveling from Montrose to Colorado Springs for my "April fools birthday" and on the way back to Montrose and we stopped in Gunnison at McDonald's to let the kiddos go to the bathroom and my 7 month old boxer pup locked us out of the car (what a great birthday joke). I have three kids ages seven, four, and two. We were stranded in a small town where we knew no one and every single lock smith I called was either closed or their number was disconnected. I called the police dispatch and they told me they could break a window and that was not happening so I googled tow truck companies and the first one that came up was tried-and-true. He said he would be there in fifteen minutes and showed up earlier than stated. He was quick and efficient. My poor babies were in summerish clothing and our jackets were in the car. McDonald's was going to close soon so we would have been completely stranded as my phone was about to die as well. I was extremely appreciative of the promptness and friendliness. We have to keep local and small businesses alike, alive. What a more deserving company to support than one that answers the calls any hour and helps us in our time of need. Them helping our family is us helping their family in turn. I wish more people could remember that. It is nice to know that even though I live in Montrose I have someone I can count on in a time of need. Not many people can say that anymore. Thank you for making sure my babies and my beast of a dog were able to get home safely and I am able to get to work in the morning to provide for my family. I APPRECIATE YOU and your long nights and your devotion to 24 hours a day. “I used to take my 2011 Silverado 3500 to another place in town for oil changes, but John Roberts charges 50% less than the other guy--it's 25 bucks if I bring in my own oil, plus they rotate my tires and will give the truck a general look over to make sure she's road worthy when I ask them to do so.

She's got an appointment this week, and I'm pretty sure she'll need ball joints, and, I'm glad to be taking her to JRMWC.

The guys are always kind, and I don't feel like they BS me. I'd recommend anyone take their truck to them.”

“Went there to get new tires on my daughter's car while she was staying in Gunny for the summer. The owner was the one who helped us. Super nice guy. The place is like something out of the late 70s, and I mean in that in a nostalgic good way. Price was extremely fair considering there isn't much competition in a small town, he could easily be gouging people if he wanted to. They had the tires installed and balanced in about an hour. A great experience all around.”
