“My most recent experience was at first not so great, it was a stressful situation with a newer truck and a possibly huge repair but, I do have to say, they really pulled out all the stops to make it better. They bent over backward to help me get my truck back lightning fast with a pretty major repair. After the first few bumps in the road, it was extremely smooth sailing, and the truck is running good as new (they even got the petrified french fries out from between the seats!) Thank you Matt in the service department and everyone who helped get me back on the road. 100% recommend!”

“We moved from Florida and needed to register our vehicles. Per Connecticut laws, we needed to get an emissions testing before the vehicles could be registered. We called and booked an appointment. On the day of the testing, we parked our cars, checked in with customer service, and gave them our keys. We didn't know where to park, so we parked on the outside perimeter of the parking lot and that seemed to not be an issue. For both cars, it took about 30 minutes. We waited in the waiting room; once they were done, they called our name and we checked out. The place was busy but efficient, waiting room was packed but we were able to snag a chair. Overall, the service was quick and I would definitely use them again.”

I received a detailed quote complete with pictures about what repair needed to be done. Work was completed on time with a loaner vehicle provided. “I purchased a 2023 VW Atlas at the Mitchell’s VW Dealership. I have been looking for a while and been to a couple of dealerships around CT. The moment I walked in, Marin greeted us and it just felt “right”. He was very accommodating and showed us the car that I was looking at online right away. I was with my two young kids so I was worried that it will take us too long (some dealership keep you forever and it usually feels like a trap)…. But not with this one. I test drove the car, spoke to Marin and the sales manager (Josh), went over the quote just within an hour or so! I did not feel pressured nor rushed and my kids enjoyed their stay. The atmosphere of the place is impeccable and Marin is extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful.When we picked up the car, Marin took his time in reviewing/showing everything my new car has to offer. I left extremely HAPPY and SATISFIED with my purchase. I GREATLY appreciate all the help that everyone provided. Definitely a 10/10 for the service and honesty! More powers!”

“*Edited*I brought my vehicle in because one of my boots was leaking.Bringing it in I assumed it was the axle boot. Instead of investigating what boot was leaking, they ordered the expensive axle and replaced it without telling me that it was not an axel boot that was leaking.Now I am out a large sum of money, and the problem of a leaking boot remains.If I go to the doctor and tell them I have a broken arm, they investigate which one is broken before wrapping my leg.Scheduling and conversing was easy, and the front desk staff were friendly. They also seem to be the type to try and make it right. Will provide update.*Update*As suspected, Evans Automotive tried and succeeded to make it right!I don't know how, Steve was able to turn this into a win/win.They were able to replace the correct boot, and fix a difficult brake issue! They even provided some feedback on what the vehicle could use now and later.They let me test drive the vehicle to confirm brake operation, and I described them as "perfect". I feel as though I got my money's worth, and more important, I feel safe driving my family around!I gave them a second chance, and am grateful for their service! “I stopped by dynamic auto yesterday because two of my tires were low on air, and due to the cold weather the tires were having a hard time letting air in. So I was told to go to dynamic auto, and even though all he did was put air in my tires he was extremely friendly, efficient and kind and so welcoming. He even went above and beyond because he put air in all four of my tires, when only two of them needed air. I give that place a 10/ 10 and if I need service I would take my car there. It was the owner who helped me, from reading other reviews, I think his name is Jeff.”

“Experience #1 - I went to a nearby dealer to buy a part. I got talked into doing a test at the dealer and they came back saying I didn't need the part and that the real issue was my water pump. They wanted to charge over $1K for the total repair. A friend recommended Ron's Automotive. It was late in the day and I called his shop and told him I needed a new water pump. His quote was a lot lower. I got to his shop after hours and dropped my car and key off without meeting Ron or anyone there. Early the next morning I got a call and Ron explained that I didn't need a new water pump. All I needed was a the part that I was originally going to buy. The quote he gave me for the repair was more than fair.”

“Had an oil change at Midas. They said I had oil in my coolant. Took it to Subaru dealer, they said it was a head gasket and would be $5000+. I took it to Route 44 Tire on a recommendation. They said it would be under $2000. But when they did diagnostic it was something really simple. A $100 part and with labor the total bill was about $200. They could have done the head gasket and charged me $2000. But were honest and only replaced what was needed. And I will be sending a letter to Subaru's corporate office.”
