“This Home Depot is my hometown store. Essentially it has everything the other stores have, my only criticism is the fact that some items are not the same as other stores nearby. For example, whenever I visit the Fairfield store in the front, outside they normally have grills and other items in the front- but some of the items the Fairfield store has are not the same which are out in the front of the Bridgeport store. The Fairfield store has all types of Weber grills and other high end models but in the Bridgeport store you have the lower models. I wonder why. But essentially for all most hardware, tools and paint needs it is about the same. One thing I will say is the employees at the Bridgeport store seem to be a lot nicer.”

“We went to get ALL appliances for a new house and we were sent to Marsillio's by our builder. Besides, we also have been going to them for years. We worked with Jason this time. Jason Lipton was very knowledgable, easy to talk to, patient and provided us with lots of options to chose from. He showed us what is possible on the things we didn't think of. I recommend to everyone!”

“We bought a Weber grill at Stratford Home Depot, it was assembled and delivered.First time using it the igniter didn’t work.We went back to Home Depot and spoke to Daniel Reardon, he said don’t worry I will come to your house after I get off work, which he did and fixed it.He restored our faith in people, that their are still people who care and are willing to help.Daniel Reardon is a asset to Home Depot with his customer service, which should be recognized.Diana & Joseph Clomiro”

“5 stars for entertainment, although I’m disappointed I can’t buy a shotgun at the same place I do my grocery shopping anymore the entertainment is always the best. On this particular visit I was going in to purchase a few things and saw an older lady that must have been around 70 swing and hit a grown man with a butterball turkey!!!!”

“Andre diagnosed and fixed our broken JennAir oven after we moved into our new home. While it was expensive (>$800) to repair the broiler and install some safety valves as it had been fitted incorrectly for propane, Andre was so nice, informative, and helpful, explaining everything in detail. I'm so glad he was our service rep and hope to work with him again if we ever have any appliance issues in the future!”

The man at the entrance helped point me in the right direction, then another lady came by knowing what I wanted and helped me save money by getting me only what I needed, no unnecessary upsell. Store layout is a bit odd though and it feels like a middle ground between a big box store and an express.”

“When I came to Home Depot I asked a man who was working a different aisle to call assistance for me in the lumber aisle. I needed a price check as well as for someone to pull a bundle of wood forward so I can check if they were dry. I waited for about 10 mins and nobody showed up. So I walked around until I found anyone who was willing to help. I then spotted a worker named James D. Who was just clocking back in from a break but was very happy to help me. He not only helped with my original requests, but he went above and beyond and helped me load up my cart, helped me find additional items on my shopping list that were in other departments and even offered to help lift any heavy bulky items in to my car if needed. I normally have a hard time finding help at any store I shop at, but James went above and beyond and I will return just because I know he is willing to help the best he absolutely can. Thank you James!”

“Today is a five star day. I came in to make a quick purchase. The purchase did not work out so I had to return the device. All in all it was a pleasant & speedy experience. However, when I went back to Walmart to make my return - my hat fell off my head. I looked around, could not find it. I called the store and Katrice picked up the phone. I explained to her that it was not a hat from Walmart and it belonged it me. She was rather kind & patience as she tried to calm my panic mode. She actually said she was going to ask around about it. I'd say about five minutes later Katrice and I spoke again - where she conveyed the delightful news to me that my hat was at the service desk. Due to this experience I will make a point to shop here when in the area. Thank you kindly Katrice & whomever found my hat. It's a #hatapproved day!!!!!”
