Owner Kory Wollins conceived Burgers, Shakes & Fries with a very simple idea: provide quality food at affordable prices. He saw a need for a comfortable, family-friendly restaurant with broad appeal in Connecticut and filled it. The menu is satisfying and straightforward, with favorites like hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and onion rings. Add-ons include a fried egg, chili, mushrooms and sauerkraut, as well as the basics. Tasty shakes, lemonade, sodas, iced tea, brownies and cookies round out the menu, while quesadillas and salads provide some departures from the otherwise classic casual American offerings. There is also wine and beer available. The orange and natural wood color scheme is clean and accessible.
