“Great bank! The staff is very helpful and kind. My only suggestion is to update their hours currently at 1455 Boston Post Road as it says you're open till 5:30pm but in reality you're closed at 5 and only a few different branches are open till 5:30pm.”
“It's a pretty big place and the people seem nice, but it's very busy a lot of the time. They only have two employees when there's six or more customers in line. Sometimes, an employee has to man the drive through window and act as a teller at the same time. Before they say they're short staffed or understaffed, don't be so picky as to who you hire, maybe that's why you're understaffed and short staffed. That's why people get annoyed, people have things to do, places to go, schedules, etc.”

“The Trumbull Webster branch on Daniels Farm Road is exceptional. I’ve worked with Michelle and Fred since 2019. Not only are they always available and quick to resolve issues, but they've gone out of their way for me. Everyone there is professional, friendly, easy to work with…and they answer the phone! Even though Webster Bank is a large bank, the Trumbull branch has a reassuring, friendly, small hometown feel to it - nothing bureaucratic about. The location is easy to access with plenty of parking. I highly recommend.”

Before that it was a different name .Used many branches in my area of Hamden CT but the Woodbridge branch hands down is the best .I had the pleasure of talking to Ryan over the phone when I needed a notary. He was extremely helpful and nade the grueling task easy and pleasant .I then went into the bank and met with Dan Smith. He's so great to talk to and extremely personable .His expertise in helping me get some documents notarized was much appreciated .I had been trying to find a notary that didn't need my first born as proof of citizenship and Dan,,Ryan and Wells Fargo took care of me .The Woodbridge branch is by far the most professional and personable . An ATM glitch left me in a really stressful situation right before closing time, and Melissa immediately stepped in to help. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely empathetic, and she stayed on the phone as long as needed to get everything sorted out.
When the situation needed a manager, Nila stepped in and went above and beyond to resolve the issue on the spot, something that I was originally told might not be possible until Monday. “Small local branch which is helpful and accessible. Manager Silvie is a lovely professional who knows what banking is, or should be, which is really about people. Counter and drive-up staff are old world...ie nice, welcoming, smiling and helpful. Have been there many years. Parking is EZ, coffee is gratis, and office folk know how to send international wire transfers. Office folk can be a tad more welcoming and less rote-focused.”
