Staff was helpful in coming out to my car to assist with bringing in and bringing out my cats. I was fortunate to be seen early and did not have to wait long in the exam room. The veterinarian was very professional during the exam and ensured my questions were answered. My cats will be repeat customers as long as we are in the area.”

“Recently when I went to Montville Animal Hospital with my sick pet, I had to make a gut-retching decision. The veterinarian, and technician were extremely sympathetic with my situation and gave me all the time I needed after explaining all of my options. They were willing to give me unlimited time to make phone calls and decisions and finally say goodbye to my furbaby. It was not where I wanted to be however, I was in the best of hands. I have been to this clinic 3 times with exceptional services every time and would highly recommend them.”

“My dog is family to us. When she started to get sick on Labor day weekend , we were in a panic because my normal vet was out of town. Norwich Vet was the only vet opened. It also was a Sunday of this holiday weekend. The girl on the phone was wonderful. Knowing I had never been. Come right in . What a wonderful experience. The vet was so nice . Did not rush . Gave me meds. The price was not crazy.

“A long overdue shoutout to the amazing folks at the Niantic Animal Hospital. Almost a year ago, we found a stray cat living under a shed on the docks where I work. He was very timid, afraid of people, and not in the best health. We started feeding him, named him Tunafish (his favorite snack that we gave him), and decided we should probably get him neutered and checked out at a vet. A friend told me about a local organization that partners with the Niantic Animal Hospital providing low cost services for stray cats. Sure enough, we were able to get him shots and fixed there for a fraction of the cost that I was quoted from some of the other vets around town. Not only that, but all of the staff I dealt with at the office were some of the nicest and most helpful people I've ever met. As soon as you walk in the door here, it becomes obvious that your animal is in good hands. Nowadays, Tuna is as healthy as a horse and the friendliest cat you could ever meet. His living situation has also improved quite a bit, as he ended up coming home with me not long after his vet visit. Big thanks to Niantic Animal Hospital for helping turn not just Tuna's life around, but all of the other strays that they assist with TNR.”

“My wife and I can Only say wonderful things about Dr. Beal, her husband Clayton, and the rest of the staff at North Eastern Vet Care on how well they took care of our dog-child Capt. Dutch, the Pirate (see photo). What makes Dr. Beal stand out is her sincere love of animals and practical concern for cost vs pet health. She always gave the best care without breaking the bank. At the end of our little boys' life, it was Clayton who took charge and made sure to provide a loving, dignified end of life situation and to this day we are so thankful for his empathy and patience. He took care of everything and after a few days we got Dutch back in a beautiful wooden picture frame box with a lovely sympathy card signed by the entire staff. I highly recommend Dr. Beal and the rest of the staff at North Eastern Vet Care.”

“Had a older Cat that was suddenly at the end of her long beautiful life and couldn't find a Vet any where near me to help with her suffering.
They were the only one to step up to help her.
Can't say enough about the Vet Tech, Doctor and their compassion.
The Vet Tech put her in a cardboard type casket with her name beautifully written on it along with a little clear type container that had some of her hair in it, a ribbon and a paw charm on it.
That ment so much to me and I'll never forget it. ❤️”

“After a previously poor experience at a different vet clinic in the area, it's safe to say I was VERY nervous taking my girl back there so I was in the market for a new veterinarian. After some research I can across good friends vet clinic and saw all of the good reviews. They are all being modest. Sincerely the veterinarians here are all fantastic and great at what they do. My girl isn't the biggest fan of the techs, but if they give her a treatie they became fast friends. There is decent availability and good working hours for my schedule. I also like how they are open on Saturdays. After I few appointments and feeling like Moose was in good hands, I scheduled her spay to be here. I was SO nervous to drop her off, but everyone made me feel at ease. I got two follow up phone calls and a detailed care plan for her post op. I also did not have to keep here there overnight. There weren't any complications and she healed very nicely & quickly. As long as I live in the area we will be coming here.”

“Today we said goodbye to our beloved cat "Munch". He was part of our family for over 16 years. He was failing and suffering very much. And the awesome Doctor said due to his age and disabilities, keeping him alive, would only mean more suffering. He spoke to us from his heart, are very, very rare quality today. And as part of our hearts left us today. We know he is not suffering any longer, Also the staff is so kind, again, a very rare thing today. Both my wife and I and my brother thank the Doctor and his staff with all of our hearts. In this day and age compassion, caring are in short supply,execept at your clinic! “If I could give the entire staff and GLVH a billion stars with a billion rainbows and billion butterflies, I would! I am not from Connecticut. However, I brought my mother's beautiful kitty Alley in with some urinary tract issues. The entire team knew I was only in town for the evening, and mom was recovering from back surgery. Everyone, including several veterinarians, technicians, and front of the "house" team, worked on helping Alley until beyond closing time to ensure the best treatment plan for my mom's beloved girl. I have never quite seen a team work so cohesively in an animal hospital before! And I love my vet! but wow, they really have a remarkable TEAM! Mom, myself, and of course Alley, thanks you from the bottom of our hearts! ?”
