“Excellent little gas station. The staff is the best. They remember their repeat customers and know what they usually get. Gas prices are a bit more than the surrounding areas like new Milford or Torrington by 20 to 50 cents. The parking lot is ok in the front, but out back there are one or two significant pot holes so if you have a lowered car or large rims, take your time.”

“When it's quiet in Litchfield, it's a great station. The entrances are right by a traffic light, which can make turning left dicey at times. There are two double-sided pumps, and a small convenience shop. Every person I've ever interacted with there has been very friendly. The gas prices are high, but par for the area.”

“The head pharmacist Jeff is the kindest and most helpful I've ever met. Others are pretty good also. Actually switch pharmacy because of his help. He Knows all his customers by name. Just good people worth knowing about.”

“We really feel it's time for a serious update on the Litchfield CVS. There are several negative reviews from a few years ago, but we believe a close look at this operation over the last 12 months is overdue. And we strongly believe that in just about every way this store has improved. Sure, you can find issues here and there, but let's briefly examine what's going on now. First, the pharmacy has seriously expanded, in space and staff. They can use more people behind the desk for sure, but they are moving in the right direction. And those people have been very professional and friendly in all of our interactions with them. We've gotten a lot of vaccines over the last year, making quick online appointments and getting the shots on schedule. The pharmacists have not shied from offering counsel. Our prescriptions are handled efficiently. In spite of crowds at the pharmacy at certain times, everyone almost always seems to keep their cool. With the restructuring of the pharmacy, shelving at the store has become more crowded and challenging -- there is not infinite space -- but we've found staff helpful in locating specific items. And the cashiers and others working at the store have pretty good attitudes given their increased duties. They can get pissed at times, but then it is often the customers who lead the way (we've watched this unfold too many times, sadly). The stock of seasonal items and cards remains pretty good, and prices aren't outrageous for items we've looked at. Everything here is a bit more cramped than before; that's the downside, but we don't see where they get much room to expand. Anyhow, we have found this CVS to be improved and improving, in most ways, and we feel they deserve credit for that.”

“The pharmacy department of this Walgreens have been great in the Covid 19 vaccine distribution. For both of my appointments I arrived early thinking there would be a line and other issues. The layout of a line for pharmacy and another for vaccines was great. The staff was professional and moved efficiently getting the paperwork set. The pharmacist was a knowledgable and friendly, making sure I understood the process, the side effects and answered all the questions I had. The feel of the store is more like a mom/pop drug store rather than a chain, which I appreciate. I don't get many prescriptions but they have been helpful then as well. Clerks in the front are helpful and efficient. I have always been greeted and thanked for my business. Again, small store feel with lots of products that people need for a decent price. I have not found long lines here. Last but not least, I have witnessed people coming in with demanding and rude attitudes. Not once have I seen a staff member snap back or reply with rudeness. Rather, if they didn't have the medication or item requested, I watched the pharmacy staff call other Walgreens to help the person out. Good people.”

“The store is always immaculate and there are always great bargains. They have a good selection of electronic accessories as well such as sd cards, prepaid phone cards, computer accessories like mice, some popular printer inks, flash drives, etc. Tons of candy and food items, and an in-store photo kiosk. Lots of greeting cards and an ATM. Pharmacy also located in -store.”
