“This is a great Stop & Shop. It's one of the newest locations in Connecticut, built in 2017, and is one of the nicest locations around. The store is very clean and well lit. It's well stocked and carries a huge selection of products. The floral department is excellent! They have a huge selection of very beautiful flowers and plants, as well as lots of really nice seasonal decorations. The bakery is also great! They have a huge selection of baked goods. All the baked goods were well stocked and looked fresh and tasty. We bought french bread here and it was fresh and delicious. The produce is good at this location. Cabbage, lettuce, watermelons, and other fruits and vegetables look fresh and are well stocked. The deli is good and clean with friendly staff. The prepared chicken was all hot and fresh. The sandwiches looked fresh and delicious and were well stocked. I was impressed with the wide variety of sandwiches to choose from at this location. The fish looked fresh and was well stocked. The meats also looked fresh and were well stocked with a wide variety. The bathrooms are usually very clean. The staff at this location are all friendly, attentive, and helpful. Unfortunately, like all Stop & Shops, I have found some expired items on the shelves, so make sure you check the dates on what you're buying. Overall, this is a very nice Stop & Shop. The store is always very clean, well maintained, and well organized. It's a smaller store, and the prices are higher at this location, the Torrington Stop & Shop usually has cheaper prices and a larger selection. Despite that, this store serves Litchfield well. It's clean, has very friendly staff, and a wide variety of fresh foods. It's a nice, newer store and is one of the better Stop & Shops around. 4.5 stars for the Litchfield Stop & Shop.”

“The pharmacy department of this Walgreens have been great in the Covid 19 vaccine distribution. For both of my appointments I arrived early thinking there would be a line and other issues. The layout of a line for pharmacy and another for vaccines was great. The staff was professional and moved efficiently getting the paperwork set. The pharmacist was a knowledgable and friendly, making sure I understood the process, the side effects and answered all the questions I had. The feel of the store is more like a mom/pop drug store rather than a chain, which I appreciate. I don't get many prescriptions but they have been helpful then as well. Clerks in the front are helpful and efficient. I have always been greeted and thanked for my business. Again, small store feel with lots of products that people need for a decent price. I have not found long lines here. Last but not least, I have witnessed people coming in with demanding and rude attitudes. Not once have I seen a staff member snap back or reply with rudeness. Rather, if they didn't have the medication or item requested, I watched the pharmacy staff call other Walgreens to help the person out. Good people.”
