“They make every effort to help even if they are fully booked. Pleasant, helpful and they take time to explain the visit and any additional information you need to care for your pet. I have had limited time here but so far I'm satisfied with the staff and the care of my dog. It would be nice if they had more appointments for unexpected matters but they do make an effort to do the best they can. In my experience anyway.”
“KBAH has always been nothing but wonderful to my 3 pets over the last 5 years I’ve been using them as our family vet. Most recently I’ve been dealing with my blue heeler’s broken foot and he has been a nightmare of a patient at home. I’ve never had a problem getting in touch with the staff at KBAH and they’ve been extremely helpful to us. They are also very prompt with appointments, very thorough with their exams, and overall just so easy to deal with, whether we’re with Dr. Ellis, either of the Dr. Blooms, Dr. Sinclair or any of the techs.”
“I feel the care that my new rescue pup was provided and the time I was provided to talk about him to the staff was adequate and very professional. Dr. Churchill is amazing with each and every one of my three dogs. She doesn't just treat them, she interacts and talks with them and I like she has personal ties to them. Dr. Churchill knows each and every one of my dogs and their individual problems that they may have. The time that Dr. Churchill will actually spend with you, will never make you feel rushed or that you're just a number. Dr. Churchill & her team make the whole experience very comforting for my dogs and myself”

“I first walked through the doors of this veterinary practice in 2003, with Cotzo, our beloved cat, for his routine check-ups and vaccinations. What I expected was good medical care. What I found was something rarer: doctors who genuinely care.
Years passed, and when Cotzo reached 14 and was diagnosed with kidney disease, Dr. Kris and Dr. Eric Park guided us through every step with skill, patience, and compassion. I’m certain their care extended his life, and when the time came to say goodbye, they helped us do so in the most gentle, dignified way imaginable. That is not something you forget.
After Cotzo, they cared for Oci — our next cat, full of personality and, let’s say, not the easiest patient to handle. They managed him beautifully.
Life eventually took us farther away, and we found ourselves at other clinics out of convenience. But with our two new cats, we made a decision: the extra drive is absolutely worth it to be back in the hands of Dr. Kris and Dr. Eric Park. They are consummate professionals and two of the warmest-hearted people I’ve ever trusted with the animals I love.

“Our dog needed a tooth extraction after she broke her premolar chewing a bone. Dr. Keech did a great job at a very reasonable price compared to other vets we called. Penny is recovering well and the extraction area looks very healthy with no inflammation after only two days. Thanks for fitting us in!”

“Dr Nick is just the best! I first went to him 35 years ago when I had a dog and now I have a cat, my cat is 6 and Dr. Nick remembered my dog 25 years later! He is old school, meaning he is all about the animals, not making money. Recently my cat got sick and I was petrified, I was so worried about her, Dr. Nick saw her immediately, gave her emergency care that she needed. I was ready to order every blood test available from Lyme Disease to Bird Flu to ultrasounds, to daily IV therapy! Dr. Nick explained to me that she needed basic blood work first, she didn't need an ultrasound, a daily fluid therapy was not necessary, he saved me thousands of dollars because the cat was fine after two visits, antibiotics, and two fluid therapies. He called every other day to check on her, he spent 30 minutes on the phone asking detailed questions so I didn't have to take her back for another visit, never charged me. My mother's doctor charges for every EMAIL response, let alone a phone call! I can't say enough wonderful things about this vet, he cares about the animals above all, has a WONDERFUL bedside manner with both the pets and their parents.”

“I can not say enough about this place!! It was my first time today with my babies. I was in a huge bind trying to travel internationally with my dogs. Our current vets don’t do this paperwork. They went above and beyond getting the proper information, paperwork and promptly calling me and scheduling appointment. Tami @ front desk always very friendly and understanding even when I was freaking about not being able to travel she assured me they would do what they can to make it possible. The manager (didn’t get his name) but also called me. Then when actually in the office meeting the ladies at the front desk all very FRIENDLY, WELCOMING AND PROFESSIONAL.
Then meeting Dr. Marlena Holter ?? and her assistant they were professional, so sweet to my very anxious pups, through… took their time to properly fill things out and get everything done.
Very nice, understanding, calm.
I have had other pets and gone to many vets in CT but no one ever made an impression like this.
We will now be switching VETS even if I have to drive further.
