“Our boy plays hard all day and sleeps all night. A tired pup is a good pup. I can tell he’s playing hard from the sheer amount of dirt on him when we pick him up! Lol we love it, and the socialization aspect he gets as well. When we drop him off he doesn’t even look back once”

“This vetinerary clinic is top notch. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the first vet that I've found that doesn't extremely stress out my dog. I always know that he is in excellent care while there. They also go out of their way to make sure any of my concerns are addressed and happily any questions that I have. They have even been able to fit me in on short notice when my boy had an issue with his leg. Highly recommend to any one looking for a great vet!”

“I called with a question recently because my regular vet was closed for the holidays and the associate who answered was so kind and thorough. He was patient and really took the time to listen to me and provide me with advice.I had one other experience here when I had to say goodbye to my beloved 18 year old cat. The staff was extremely kind and made what was one of the worst days of my life as painless as possible and met me with compassion. No matter the circumstance, the staff here are top notch.”

“I highly recommend Kensington! I have referred all my friends and family and I will not take my fur babies anywhere else. I have a friend who is a veterinarian and my sister-in-law is a vet tech and neither can convince me to leave Kensington, even for free pet care! Dr.C is the best. She doesn’t rush and is 100% honest with you. All the techs are fantastic and kind. You can tell everyone there truly loves animals. They even do care for wildlife. Not many veterinarians do that. We have had small animals and birds in the past and have had our care for them done at Kensington as well. So look no further and go to Kensington for all your pets! Tell them Rosie sent you ?”

“Great place to bring your fur babies. Dr. Lisa is a pleasure to help get your furry one back on to the road to recovery. I've also had Dr. O' Callaghan as well treat my furry ones and she is just as equally awesome. I highly recommend them.”

“The most kind and compassionate vet I ever had. They have treated all of my pets with great care, and treated me with such kindness during the hard decision to put my cat down. They deserve 5 stars!”

“Very thorough and reasonably priced in comparison to some of the vets in the area. They spent a lot of time with my senior dog and took the time to explain to me a plan of care for her. Comparatively I’m used to vets rushing you through a diagnosis and then charging an outrageous bill so I was really impressed with this practice. Hoping to bring my younger dog there in the future for her next well check.”

“The entire staff was absolute wonderful the 8 yrs I was with them. When my GS got cancer they went above and beyond what I’d ever experience at any other bet. Every person I recommended to them, were as happy as I was with the quality of care they give.”

“3/16/24. Dr Hurley cares for my cats and he is wonderful! Going thru a rough patch with Missy our older cat and he always has the time for a chat with advice. Thank you Dr. Hurley. You are a gem and I am glad to have you take care of my girls!12/14/20 Update. One year and 1/2 ago Dr. Frattini saw our beloved Border Collie Jack who was having some issues. For just the price of an office visit and some bloodwork, He diagnosed him with Lymphoma. He did not waste any time or money recommending us to a Vet Oncologist for proper treatment. We really appreciate this. Jack is still with us today still fighting it and still enjoying a great quality of life. We really appreciate the fact that he sent us right along our way.16/ He told us at the time it was not a death sentence and both my wife and I didn't believe him at the time, but Jack is living proof of that today.”

“I had trouble going back here after having to put down my late dog back in 2020 but to this day I miss the expert professionalism and empathy I was shown every time I walked through those doors by Dr. Park and his incredible staff. Best vet in Central Connecticut, hands down.”

“Dr. F is an interesting guy. Been coming here for over 10 years with both of my dogs, Flash and Capone. He is all business and takes care of your dogs needs. I was sad to see Kim get let go during COVID times, she was a great asset to this place as the vet technician. I really wish they kept her there since she was there for so long. ?. Overall good vet.”

“I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Kumar at Durham Vet since the early 2000's. The genuine care you receive from Dr. Kumar and his team is second to none. Although my drive is 30 minutes one way and I pass many other vet hospitals on my drive, I know I am getting the best care I can possibly receive, so it's definitely well worth the travel for me to get the best for my dogs.”

“AHRH, their staff and especially Dr. Kristen have consistently gone above and beyond with flexibility, care, compassion, approachability, medical knowledge and expertise, and most importantly, pure and honest love and affection for animals. We have used this practice for many years and especially so during this past year. Our almost 15 year old golden doodle, Sera, began to require more medical assistance than in previous years. Dr. Kristen consistently returned calls and listened and communicated effectively with us in order to give Sera the best care possible. Sadly, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our precious Sera go and Dr. Kristen was there for all of us. Sera's passing, although very difficult for us, was very gentle, peaceful and loving. Although our hearts and our home feel so empty without Sera, we know that Dr. Kristen gave her the best possible care. Many thanks, Dr. Kristen, and when we are ready, we will be bringing our new addition to your practice.”

“This is absolutely the place to take your pets. I came to this office without a shred of hope. Dr keech was kind thoughtful articulate and compassionate. He sat with us for over an hour our very first appointment. My beloved cass was on borrowed time but he helped us with getting insight and gave us a fighting chance. He also came in on his day off to help send my baby to heaven. What more could you ask out of a medical professional. I will be recommending him until the day he retires. I’m eternally grateful to him and the staff”

“I am very satisfied with Dr. Nick. He is very thorough + takes the time needed to explain/answer all questions. Willing to work with my concerns, not only with timing of my puppy's vaccinations but with my time schedule as well. Rare to find a vet that actually cares about an animal/pet. His son only compliments this profession, very friendly + caring. Highy recommend!”

“I did a cost effective analysis of an average age my cat could live with the cost of radiocat vs. Meds. With the meds you run into side effects that affect kidneys/liver and additional vet costs for close monitoring, the cost of the actual drug and then the added stress to you and the cat the pill the cat. There is an option to compound the med into a cream/gel that gets absorbed into the bloodstream but compounding meds adds an increase in cost and still has the side effects associated with the medication. As much as the cost up front sucks, having the great % success rate to CURE the cause of hyperthyroidism in addition to the cost analysis and side effects I chose radiocat. The staff was very kind on the phone who took the time to explain it to me in detail (including how the radioiodine only effects the unhealthy thyroid tissue in biological terms so I fully understood the mechanism of how it worked), to the updates of how kitty was doing while he had to stay over after treatment. They explained in great detail about how if there are no side effects how other diseases could end up showing up after the hyperthyroidism is cured (and how it has nothing to do with the treatment but how the disease was actually masking underlying diseases). I am so happy that I chose to go the radiocat route because my boy is cured and his follow up appointments all look good. We can now focus on some of his other issues he is starting to have due to old age without complications and obstructions of hypetthhyperthy and medications getting in the way. Highly recommend if you have the means to do it.”

“Staff was very caring and considerate. I was there for an emergency and it was very busy. My dog vomited on the floor and a staff member came right over and cleaned it up. I apologized profusely and she just took it in stride saying it happens all the time and no need to apologize. The doctors were very knowledgeable and took the extra time to explain everything. I really appreciate all of their care!”

“Our 2 1/2 yr/old Golden needed his nails cut, and though his "coat" was a little long, we were concerned about how cold the weather has been. We took him to the Petco in Wallingford, CT, where he received great care. It was our 1st such visit, and the staff and service was outstanding! They did his nails, did a great job with his undercoat, and gave him a lighter than normal trim, and he looked outstanding. We will certainly keep them in mind for Nicky's next haircut, especially with these circumstances.”
