“We just adopted an older dog from MS and he's on anti- seizure medication. We needed to get him in soon to get his meds refilled, but they were booking out about 6 weeks for new patients. Then, he gave himself a lovely hot spot... Called and they got us in that day and were lovely in all the ways. Truly caring. We'll go back soon for his new patient appointment since his old vet hadn't sent all the blood work results they needed to review his medications.”

“Love this place! They really care about your animals and you as a client. I was there yesterday with my Mom’s very difficult cat for a health check and vaccines and they went above and beyond to accommodate us and help Pumpkin. I have been taking my animals ( 5 dogs and 3 cats ) to them for years and have always received good professional care but yesterday really showed me how lucky I was to have Dr. Rosenberg and his staff as my veterinarian all these years.”

“My elderly Frenchie was stricken with a sudden and very severe illness the evening of Labor Day while we were on our annual beach vacation in the area. It was pretty clear his final day had come. The next morning, Turco was the closest animal hospital with the earliest opening time. I showed up with him, distraught and emotional, right at 8 am. Not a regular patient and of course with no appointment. Devon K, a Client Service Representative and the sweetest, most empathetic person I have encountered in a long time, listened intently to my story, disappeared in back for a minute or two, and emerged to tell me, "we can take you." He escorted us to a nearby treatment room, where Dr. Mack examined the old guy, helped me come to terms with what I already knew had to happen, and, assisted by her vet tech, euthanized my old pal with the utmost care and gentleness. I can't say enough about how these folks made this heart-wrenching experience a little better, just by being emotionally supportive and present for us. Special thanks to Devon for being so sweet and helpful when we needed it most.”

When Boba came down with pink eye, her previous vet (at a different vet hospital) was booked for the whole month and could not squeeze her in to be seen. We are super grateful to the amazing team at Groton Ledyard Vet Hospital for taking her as a new client for her urgent eye issue. We will be definitely switching Boba's care to this vet hospital! “I made an appointment to ensure my recently adopted, four year old Golden Retriever, Chance, was established with a local vet. Companion Animal Hospital was recommended by my sister. The visit was very thorough - no vaccinations were needed as he is current, but he was tested for heartworm (negative!), and they performed a fecal test (also negative). Chance is now on heartworm meds as well as an allergy/itch medicine which has helped so much. The appointment took about an hour due to the thoroughness of the tech as well as the Vet. It was a bit pricey, but its been a few years since we needed a Vet, and bottom line, Chance is worth it!”
