“My 9 year old son and I stopped here on our way to Stamford. Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff member. A big smile on his face and a hello. Offering help if we needed it. The store is spotless and well organized with a little something for everyone as well, as a nice selection of hardware products. Nothing in the store was out of place. It was like a breath of fresh air . Staff members came by and kindly asked if they could help us locate anything and when my son asked them a question they went out of their way to answer him even engaging in some friend conversation. We did end up purchasing some items . Cashier was very nice, quick and efficient and asked if we wanted to give our number for the rewards program. We did sign up . That was also a quick and easy process . We will definitely be back . We do visit some stores near by, so will make a trip again soon back to this location. Thank you. Great job great management great staff.”

“This store is amazing. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. I went there looking for wood stains and this store has a great selection, even better than larger stores with the advantage of having someone show you how the paint would look once applied (they have a brochure with all the colors). I felt welcomed and very satisfied with my visit. Will definitely come back!”

“This is the friendliest and most knowledgeable hardware store. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I think of projects to just be able to go in. I wish I could give them 10 stars.”

“My husband and I worked with Nicole Carpenter from Bender's Norwalk location. She was wonderful, she answered all of our questions and always called/emailed me back quickly whenever I reached out to her with any questions. She was very professional and also very helpful with making decisions. I highly recommend her and would use Bender again because she made it such a pleasant experience.”

“When it was time to renovate our kitchen, we chose KB Home in Westport CT, and we're so glad we did – especially because we got to work with Deborah von Donop! She is an incredible kitchen designer and made the whole process so enjoyable. Her eye for design, whether it was cabinetry, tile, or lighting, was simply amazing. Our kitchen is now better than we ever dreamed, and that's largely thanks to Deborah. She was truly a pleasure to collaborate with!”

“The employees here are so wonderful! I am a bit late in leaving this review but their kindness has been on my mind all month! I stopped by a few weeks ago in need of a pretty random and out dated cord for a light I was using. They unearthed that very cord from their back office and refused to accept payment. Very very kind people.”

“Generally, I hate going to big box hardware stores so the location, customer service and small business energy PLUS price match makes Weed and Duryea a no-brainer 5-star review. It’s also my go-to for pumpkin picking. Great selection and reasonable prices.”

“A great business run by a great family. Always so helpful. Great story: Two days ago I had a 1/2 cord of firewood dumped on my driveway and was counting on using my wheelbarrow to move it before the Jan 25 snowstorm. Yesterday I dug out my wheelbarrow from my garage and found the tire to be split in half from dry rot. I called Westport Hardware and they took a wheel off of one of their matching wheelbarrows, sold it to me, then placed the order for themselves to replace their own wheel. Totally saved the day!”

“Had to get 2 different colors of paint. They exactly matched both colors on the spot. Also picked up some supplies for painting. The service was friendly and extremely professional. The store is so huge, it did take a bit to find the paint section. From what I could tell this place has it all, and not in a big box store way.P. S. The prices were very reasonable.”

“Rings end has it all at the store if they font have somting they will find it . I shop there for a long time ish they never disappointed me .Store has friendly and helpful personal and don't forget they will deliver on orders 500 usd and up . You can buy evrything online and get it delivered to your location for free . Excellent. IF you think they are expensive its not thru i found that there prices and quality of materials actually sometimes more affordable and much better then in other places like Home Depot or Lowes.”

“Lowe's tends to have more in stock than the Home Depot nearby. At least the household things we need. They're very helpful in the store, but we usually do store pickup. Occasionally, we do curbside pickup for heavy items like 10 - 40lb bags of salt for our water softener. Our order is quickly ready for pickup and someone brings it over and loads it into the car within minutes. I would have a hard time doing this on my own, so it's amazing that they provide curbside for heavy and bulky items. At some point I won't even check Home Depot, because they rarely have what I need. In my experience, Lowe's tends to have more options, but they also tend to be a bit pricier.”

“I always get great service shopping here, I recently went to buy some tiles that were seen available at store but I could not find them while I was in the store. Mr Ken was kind enough to help me while helping multiple other customers and got us out of there in a jif thanks you guys for your hard work”

“I've been shopping at this Home Depot since they've originally opened. I've never had any problems with this store. The only issues that I've ever faced with customers who are very rude and inconsiderate to other shoppers and the staff. I love coming here over the Port Chester or the Norwalk stores because this one has more options available. Yes, the staff can be a little slow. However, they are always doing the best and are super friendly!!! Anytime I need help I can always find an available worker to help me out. I see that the other reviews on here criticize workers , however I don't believe that these are true and some of the "rude customers." Their garden section has amazing options, and they have everything from simple flowers two large landscaping items. This is a great place to find everything that you need .”

“Hollywood from appliances was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me find the right materials for my furniture repair job. He is the perfect example of what customer service should look like!”

“I love this Home Depot, I've never had any issues here (unlike Stamford's location). I will say, the layout in Stamford is better and easier to navigate. However, we were able to find what we needed and were even assisted with help (because climbing on shelves is frowned upon). This location is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful.”

“Years later and I can still remember the associate who helped me pick the colors to my bedroom at the time. He was so helpful, hilarious and was there in the paint section each time I came back for more. I can’t recall his name but he was in his 40s-50s Caribbean man. Great hire, I hope he’s well!”
