“It has been a very long time since we've been here, and sadly we recently had to bring our beloved old boy cat Oscar here to be laid to rest. They looked him over, but his health rapidly declined almost overnight. He was 17, and it was for the best. They took exceptional care of the wife, and even gave her some of his fur in a small bottle for remembrance.
What happened next surprised the both of us. The following day, we received a card in the mail from Kentmere. Inside, was a beautiful poem about the Rainbow Bridge, and two cards with inked paw prints on them. Those prints belonged to Oscar. The day after that, we received another card, this time a condolence one signed by the staff. We were incredibly touched by these items, and the fact that they seriously went above and beyond to let us know that they care not just for the animals, but also those who they come in contact with. This has helped us through the process of having lost a much loved family member, and we will never forget it.

“We have been coming to Windcrest for years using their services for wellness, emergency and boarding. They are fabulous and show care and compassion for our pets. When we boarded our dogs while on an overseas trip and one became critically ill they provided several updates a day on her condition. Melissa went so far as buying chicken and preparing for our girl to see if she would eat. they may be a little pricey for emergency care but you get what you pay for. We will keep coming back!”
