“Sadly, we had to put our beloved dog down last week. Dr. Bo, who has been her vet for years, was so patient with us, giving us the time we needed. When we left, he told us not to worry about paying that day. I called today to make payment and Dr. Bo and the Vet Tech, Mayson, waived their fee. We were only charged for the supplies necessary. He has always been a great vet, but this was beyond unexpected. Thank you Dr. Bo and all the staff for your kindness and care. If you need a vet and team that shows genuine concern for you and your pets, I cannot recommend them enough! Sincerest Thanks!”

They worked me in and were wonderful to Bluebell. The whole staff was super nice & I loved Dr. Zeng. He is 19 years old and I must say, I know he is in great hands, the tech came out and spent some time with us (other places would have just grabbed your pet so fast you don’t have a chance to kiss your baby or comfort them). “This is a great vet. I was there on time and I was seen on time. They were patient with me and my babies. They have preventive care plans and their Staff is knowledgeable. I felt like they were family. Tristan was great and explained everything to me before it was done. I also love that I'm allowed in the room when my babies were getting treatment. (Covid at my other vet prevented that) this is a great local vet with reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.”

“After a miscommunication with my appointment this morning, I ended up having to leave without my dog being seen. Something happened with my appointment not being saved so we weren’t able to get my dog in.the veterinarian at this hospital reached out to me via phone, and made sure that my dog was taken care of. This was after an obviously very stressful day for the entire establishment. I just really feel like she went above and beyond, and sounded like she truly cared about getting my dog taken care of. It sounded like she was dealing with crises all day, and my dog just has a skin infection. To me of course it’s a big deal, but I could see in the eyes of others how other crises would take precedence. But she still took time out of a very intense day to call me and give me, a nearly 15 minute phone consultation and go out of her way to make sure that my dog is taken care of before the weekend. I was a little unsure this morning to continue bringing my animals here and now I am very set on taking them here anytime they need anything.Thank you Dr. Focke.”

I have a rescue who is way overweight & one with Bad arthritis And he gave me recommendations and options, especially for the overweight one. Hours of calling many vets and no one could get him in, but the wonderful staff at Gulf Coast got him in no questions asked and walked me through every single process and did an amazing thorough job. “I should have written this years ago and I apologize for not doing so. My cat Callie was diagnosed with cancer from Auburn University. They quoted 10K for treatment that they could not guarantee would help her. Without treatment, they predicted she had possibly one month to live. A friend suggested a holistic vet. Thats when I found Margaret Fowler. I brought Callie to see her from our home in the Santa Rosa Beach area. Margaret started her with Chinese herbs and suggested I feed her fish, especially salmon along with acupuncture. Well the fresh fish went over with Callie like a lead balloon. Looking like a skeleton, not wanting to eat, I tried everything. After my first week with the herbs and the acupuncture, Callie started eating. However, the only thing she ate was Fancy Feast...SALMON. She wouldn't eat anything else and had NEVER eaten salmon-ever. Margaret whittled down her treatments from 3x/wk, to 2x/wk, to 1x/wk until Callie was in total remission. She loved getting to Margaret's house, would jump on Margaret's treatment table by herself and stay until Margaret was finished. Bottom line, with Margaret's acupuncture regime (only a couple weeks of herbs), Callie became healthy, happy and lived well beyond her time. Ya, and she wasn't even nearly close to the 10K Auburn quoted me, not even close to it. As far as the Fancy Feast salmon cat food, upon her clean bill of health, she suddenly stopped eating the salmon and ate the chicken, beef and other food, but not the salmon again. I have never seen anything like it. If I could have flown Margaret to me after relocating, I sure would have. He was so stressed from the move his back legs were frozen and he was in so much pain. Dr. Faggert took my call on Christmas Eve and got him the medication that he needed he was better within two days!!! Her team is amazing”

“My dog had cancer. My long time vet referred me to Tallahassee and couldn’t do the surgery. I went to Critter Care for a second opinion. They had him in surgery that week and he is doing much better.The techs brought my dog a bowl of water while I was waiting. I can’t speak for others and what they experienced and they are very busy — but that has never happened to me before. My wait times have also been reasonable.”

“absolutely love this vet! the newer vet, dr Kendra was exceptional! all the techs and even the front desk were so kind. my dog was anxious and the vet and techs took their time, never rushing us. they were so informative. my dog was significantly over weight and instead of trying to sell me some fancy dog food, the vet looked into my current food and found that we were feeding her too much. within 8 weeks she's down to her puppy weight. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. I was nervous to try a new vet but this place put me at ease, gave me great cost effective advise, got me in faster than any other vet in the area, and most of all treated my dog with kindness and compassion. the pricing was also significantly more affordable than others in the area.
