“Open Valley Academy at Flamingo Road is an amazing school! We recently moved out of state and miss it so much! My 3 year old only attended for about a month before we had to move and that one month he was already exhibiting such a huge difference in behavior and learning compared to the school prior in Doral ! He came into school everyday WILLINGLY with a smile on his face and often days didn’t want to leave! All of the staff were so helpful and made us feel like a family right from the start. Christina and Amy were wonderful, very patient and attentive to any of your needs or questions. My son’s teacher Mrs. More was super nice, loving and understanding towards all of her kids! I already recommended this school to my other friends who are now enrolling their children. If you have doubts about bringing your children here, DONT! Just visit one time and you’ll feel the good energy as soon as you walk in. Truly wonderful people and a great school. Thank you Open Valley!”

“Today we visited after 14 years that my son graduated from Little Me , I’m glad to see that the location has maintained its amazing methods. The staff has always been a strong suit, they are very professional and have a very good way of making the children feel like family. They also excel in teaching, they develop the children very well. I’m glad to see that after all these years this place is still as beautiful as when my son left it.”

“My hope is that this review helps other parents in our situation. Our daughter has been at home since birth (nearly 2 years) and we recently made the decision to find a daycare or preschool. We toured several places in the area and we’re absolutely delighted to join Pines West Academy. The school offers a structured curriculum ranging from an organized bilingual teaching plan to mindful eating. It’s incredibly clean as they keep a trusted lady on-site during school hours, they have organized activities during the week (including yoga, music, etc.), they have a catering company that offers varied mid morning snacks, lunches, and mid afternoon snacks, you get a copy of the menu for the month in advance in case you’d like to send your child with anything from home on a set date, it’s a peanut and egg free facility which are common allergens amongst kids, and most importantly to us, they provide parents with pictures and updates of your kiddos throughout the day. They also offer alternative menu options for children with other dietary needs. Given a medical condition we brought forward, concerns about allergies, and the fact that this is our daughter’s first time in a social setting with other children, Ms. Teri, the Director, and her teachers have been extremely accommodating. We were also able to meet all the teachers in each classroom, not just the ones teaching our daughter. They’re all been there for many years, with the exception of one who was also wonderful, which was also crucial for us. Every teacher is also CPR certified and Ms. Teri, the Director has been there for over 20 years. Some of the other teachers come close to that length of time there. The facility is very safe to enter and exit. We could tell during the tour the children were happy, learning, as we were able to see what was being taught in each classroom, and very well cared for. We were lucky enough to have an open spot coming up, and while it will be hard to leave her at school for the first time, we know our little girl will be safe, surrounded by kind women. None of the other locations we toured comes close to what this school offers. Ms. Teri, the Director, and all staff have been very patient with the million questions we’ve had since enrolling, and our minds and hearts are at ease with our choice. If you have the opportunity to have your child join, I wouldn’t question it for a second.”

“My daughter attends now for 2 1/2 years. Excellent staff and teachers. My daughter loves it. She is treated with love and respect. She is taught very well. She does all her classwork and homework. The teachers does a great job teaching the kids and make learning fun and exciting for them. The staff greets and assist parents with any needs or concerns. This is a great place for your child to feel like they are at home with family. Great job staff and teachers. Keep up the good work.”

“This school is the epitome of what an awesome, well ran school is. They are a perfect combination of Heart and Head. They focus on providing all their students with the academic instruction and support they need to succeed, packed in a package full of love. My daughter attended this school for one year and her overall progress while attending Epworth was remarkable. And it's all mostly because Epworth NEVER treated my daughter (or any other child) like just a number or just any another student, but rather, they treated her like family. I hate to name drop over the internet but it would be wrong of me to not give credit where credit is due. A BIG BIG shout out to Ms. Odalys, Ms. Sandy, and Ms. Monique and the rest of the staff for everything that they do!!! May this school continue to bless the lives of our little ones in the community for years to come!!!”

“This is the most amazing daycare I have encountered. My children are well taken care of and most importantly they are safe. The staff makes sure that your child is safe at all times. They also teach them and does fun activities too. The communication the staff provides with the parents is exceptional. The daycare is super clean and always disinfected from germs and viruses. My children all have great memories here and the ones still attending love this daycare and staff. I highly recommend this place.”

“Overall really good neighborhood school...teachers and administration all go above and beyond...but like any school now they are inhibited by political correctness and parents that do not back the teachers up and believe their kids are innocents...parents pretend the school is the sole responsibility for their childs discipline and upbringing...excellent school and staff trapped in a crappy system.”

“Both of my children have been Achiever babies. Ms. Erika, Mr. Guillermo, Ms. Gleisy, Ms. Marta, Ms. Janet, Ms. Iris, Ms. Marjorie, Ms. Fanny... ALL ANGELS. They truly LOVE & CARE for the kids. “My children have been attending Lil' Rascals since my son was 4 months old. My son is now 5 and my daughter is 9, and even though they have moved on to elementary school, they love going back on non school days. Lil' Rascals is a family! They genuinely care for the children and their families. I couldn't have asked for a better school to care for my children from infant, up until school age. I am going to cry the day they are too old to attend. Take it from a long time parent, whose children take about 15 minutes every time we exit the school, because they must say bye to every one of their teachers, past and present, this is where you want your child to attend.”

“There’s no where I can begin to truly express how grateful I am for this daycare. It’s definitely bittersweet that we had to part ways but this is the BEST daycare by far that I’ve had my little one in. The teachers & other staff members will love on your little one as if they’re their own. They took care of my son since he was 1 years old and he absolutely LOVED his teachers. They did an excellent job working with my little one when it came to eating, learning curriculum & play times. They always update you through their app and gave a sense of peace with their live streaming video. Do not hesitate to put your child here! They are also a Gold seal school for children of all ages. Another reason why I loved this daycare is because it isn’t your average daycare that you drive by and see while on main roads, it is on a backroad next to a church & is somewhat hidden & you wouldn’t even know there was a daycare there until you actually go there. Overall it is my favorite for my little one and we will miss everyone there dearly.”

I lived in Seattle for 15 years and met many kids that went to Montessori schools and before I even had a kid I wanted my child to goTo Montessori school. The staff here is so communicative. They constantly send pictures and texts to us all day when she is in class and a daily summary. Our daughter is only 20 months old and I am a Helicopter dad and very protective of her. “Great school, Mr.Bear is the best Assisant Principal on the other hand Ms.Cain became less involved in the school and stopped showing up the award assemblies. But my teachers were the best other than Coach Hopkins she was a big pain, the rest of them were cool (Kindergarden: Coach Blanco-Guy 1st: Coach Kreminick 2nd: Coach Hopkins 3rd: Coach Gardener 4th: Coach Chang 5th: Coach Emery then Coach Court).”

“Today I was looking for a good preschool for my son, I visited Learning City Academy West Campus, it seemed like an excellent school and I found that my friends who recommended it to me were absolutely right, because of the good treatment of parents and children.I loved the cleanliness and organization of each of the rooms.100% recommended”

“A few years ago I posted a 1 star review about this daycare because I had an incident with one of the teachers (who is NO longer there).. I took the kids out of the daycare and put them in another one.. not to mention I also had issues with that daycare as well.. long story short, after going to many daycares and not liking what they offered I went back to Early Learning Academy, spoke to Ms. Andrea (the director) and put my three kids (who are now a few years older and can talk and express themselves) back there. They have been in this daycare for about a year now, maybe a little more and I must say that I have absolutely NO complaints at all. On the contrary, everyone there is great. My kids love them and the director always makes them (as well as all the other kids there) feel special. I tried to remove my review but do not have access to that email anymore :/”

“Our family has been with Franklin-Academy Pembroke Pines K-12 since the doors opened years ago. Although it’s a 30 minute drive to this campus every day, I wouldn’t change a thing. We have had 1 son graduate in 2020 (2nd graduating class from Franklin) and another son will be graduating in 2024. Mrs. Showalter is an Amazing Principal and the teachers & staff have been wonderful throughout the years. Yes, just like any other school in Broward County they have had teachers come and go and there have been bumps in the road since the school opened their doors but overall they have come a long way. The security at the school is top notch, thanks to the head security Christopher Carnaggie. I know school just started 2 days ago for the 22/23 school year but this has been the best drop off & pick up lines since the school opened so thank you to all of the staff members that are at the school bright & early to make this happen.
