“Staff handled my emergency with grace and compassion. Let me have my last movements with my baby before we let her go. Walked me through the cremation and had wonderful options to put her in. I know people gripe about cost, but you cannot put a price on the emotional and mental strain people experience when standing by you and comforting you while your dog passes. Vets and techs are all special souls. I would go to them again with any emergency for any animal of mine.”

“I cannot say enough good things about the care Clyde received today, specifically from Ashton and Dr. Hoffman. Clyde came from an incredibly difficult past, and because of that, he is understandably very fearful of people he doesn’t know. I like to joke that my “family tree” is more of a “lemon tree,” and Clyde is no exception. After quite literally catching him when Animal Control had given up, rehabilitating him, and spending years earning his trust; bringing him somewhere unfamiliar and placing his care into someone else’s hands is not something I take lightly. Ashton took the time to meet Clyde exactly where he was. She never made him feel like he had to be “brave,” never rushed him, and did everything she could to make the experience feel safe and comfortable for him. She paid attention to his body language, respected his boundaries, and gave him the patience and reassurance he needed. Because of that, and more specifically her, he did absolutely fantastic. As someone who also works in veterinary medicine, I know the difference between simply getting a patient through an appointment and genuinely caring about how that patient experiences it. Fearful animals aren’t difficult animals—they’re animals communicating that they don’t feel safe yet. Having a veterinary team that understands and respects that distinction means everything, and Ashton and Dr. Hoffman proved today that they do. Clyde has already had enough experiences in his life that taught him people can be scary. Today, Pine Meadow Veterinary Clinic gave him an experience that taught him the opposite. There is something incredibly meaningful about watching a dog who once had every reason not to trust people be met with patience, compassion, and respect—and then watching him decide that he can trust them anyway. I’m incredibly grateful for the care Clyde received and so proud of how well he did. Thank you, Ashton and Dr. Hoffman, for giving him the grace to be exactly who he is rather than expecting him to be anything else. You made an experience I was genuinely worried about into a positive one for both of us, and for that, you will forever have my gratitude. Thank you for seeing my boy and loving him in the same way I do. 🩵”

“Love the staff and Dr. Burnett. They do their jobs efficiently and have taken care of my animals (cats and dogs)for over 10 years. Once I complete my dog's annual visit with the vet to include a checkup and shots, anything additional that I need done over the next year that can be completed by the vet techs saves me on a office appointment fee, such as bloodwork to check for heartworms, monthly shot for allergies, and nail trimming.”

“We have only been to the Beulah hospital a couple of times, but just this past week we suffered the unexpected loss of our beloved dog Kona. I will admit I was a basketcase, but the staff at Beulah was incredibly patient and sympathetic and kind. It was a real struggle that day, but Dr. Ladue in particular took time out after she'd left for the day to call and check in on us. But what's more, was just yesterday we received a condolence card...but it wasn't informal...no...everyone on the staff had written a note of sympathy, and they included a card with a nose print and paw prints. It was a heartwarming touch that my wife and I won't forget. These are good people.”

While visiting my parents over the holidays, my Belgian Malinois cut her right flank badly on a parked boat propeller while running wildly with her pointy eared German shepherd cousin. It needed stitches, and as an out-of-towner, I was in a panic. I walked in without calling, and the staff got us in right away despite the busy holiday rush. The vet and techs were calm, professional, and quick—they cleaned the wound, stitched her up with minimal stress, explained everything, and provided great aftercare. “There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for Dr. Elliott and the care he gave our cat, Lucky. Lucky was incredibly sick, and during surgery his blood pressure dropped dangerously low three different times. Dr. Elliott told us, “Not on my watch,” and he meant it. He fought for Lucky every step of the way. Dr. Elliott went above and beyond in every possible way. When the usual answers and treatments weren’t enough, he kept searching. He was willing to think outside the box, explore different medications, and use treatment options that many people may not even know are available. One of the biggest things we learned through this experience is that FIP is no longer automatically the hopeless diagnosis it once was. There are now effective treatments available, and having a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, willing to research, and determined to fight for your pet can make all the difference. We genuinely believe Dr. Elliott saved Lucky’s life. When you love an animal like family, there is no way to fully explain what it means to have someone fight that hard for them. Dr. Elliott treated Lucky like his life mattered. He gave us hope when we were terrified we were going to lose him, and he gave us something even more precious — more time with a member of our family. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Elliott and Chemstrand Oaks Veterinary Clinic. If you are looking for a veterinarian who is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, persistent, and willing to go above and beyond when your pet needs it most, I cannot recommend Dr. Elliott enough. He didn’t just treat Lucky. He fought for him, saved his life, and gave our family our cat back. That is something we will never forget”

“We had to put our dog down very unexpectedly a few saturdays ago,but everyone there was the best, most compassionate people I have ever met in such a difficult time. Our dog wasnt doing well and they squeezed us in at the last minute. They gave us all the time to say goodbye to our girl winter. They also sent us a very beautiful card along with a nose print and paw print. As much as that day sucked they made it a little less terrible with their compassion, love and professionalism.”

“Dr. Bowles? More like Dr. AMAZING!!! She has always been so good to our family and the animals in it. A lot of vets quiver in fear when a female tortoise shell cat strolls into their offices. Dr Bowles didn’t flinch and was swift but gentle with our little fluffy hell child. She also was direct when she instructed me to go get a rabies vaccine after rescuing a feral kitten from the engine well of a 1989 Geo Metro. I didn’t because it’s expensive, but I appreciated her caring and directness!! Good news neither the kitten or I have exhibited any signs of rabies!! Thanks so much for the care and compassion Dr Bowles and Safe Harbor”

“Everybody in the office was amazing. We went in after recently moving to the area because we had heard good things and needed a vet quickly for our Doberman that had started acting strange. Dr. Case and the wonderful vet techs talked with us about what was going on, ran some test and while we waited for results Dr Case did some research to see if anything else could be the issue. After we got the results back; they had his meds ready right away, scheduled a follow up and have called after a few days on the meds to see how he was doing. The staff truly made us feel comfortable and like they genuinely care about our pet's wellbeing! I will be recommending them to everyone we know.”

“We've been taking our dogs here for about 2 years. We've had basic yearly visits, surgeries, and even had to put one of our fur babies to sleep. The staff is always kind, considerate and helpful. It seems maybe a little pricey but I might be mistaken. All of the vets (3 or 4 different ones so far) we've seen have been great and we feel comfortable taking our pets there. They don't take appointments so first come first serve but it works for us.”
