Dr. Rae arranged to come that afternoon so Xena wouldn’t have to suffer another day. She was so gentle, caring and compassionate. “My rodent, Lil Bit, got and infection in a molar and was extremely sick. Ultimately the infection spread to an incisor and up into her eye. Dr. Emerson took care of her and had to remove 2 teeth and unfortunately her eyeball had to be removed. It was sad, and I cried a lot of tears but, she is alive and feeling SO much better. I drove almost 6 hours one way twice last week to get Lil Bit care. Dr Emerson along with her staff, are an AMAZING group of people who legitimately care about the animals they care for and it shows. I’ve had a lot of animals in my life and I can honestly say I’ve never had a veterinarian who is so compassionate, caring and extremely talented. I can not say enough positive things about Dr E and the clinic as a whole. It was worth every second of the drive and time. My baby is alive, healing and she’s my happy bouncy baby again. “We came to Vetco to establish our dog as a new patient and to follow up from a recent ER visit earlier in the week. Dr. James and his entire staff were absolutely excellent. The two techs who helped us, David and Autumn, were so nice and welcoming. They really took the time to listen to us and truly cared. Dr. James was great and so informative. He spent so much time with us and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. He answered all of our questions and we had quite a few due to our dogs recent injury. The staff was clearly busy and apologized for very little wait times and even stayed after hours to complete a very thorough exam. The level of care we received was excellent and they really reassured us with any concerns we had with our dog. I’m so happy that we brought our dog Kona to them and would highly recommend anyone looking for a new vet to see them.”
