It was a good shaved ice place. When Lahaina recovers and comes back stronger, this will still be a great place to stop by for a cold treat!

I had the most delicious ice cream sandwich imaginable- Hawaiian Kiss cookies and banana macadamia ice cream. The price was not bad at all for such a scrumptous dessert. I'm sad that I forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend Banyan Treats!!
BanyanTreats serves the best Maui has to offer: locally made ice cream (since 1932), delicious shave ice, and our amazing gourmet cookies—baked fresh daily. Located right next to the incredible banyan tree in the heart of historic Lahainatown, BanyanTreats is the perfect place to grab a tasty snack and cool off in the shade at Banyan Tree Park. BanyanTreats began as a concession stand in 1913, serving Lahaina's very first movie theater. The theater and shop are gone now, but the Pioneer Inn built an extension to its hotel in the 60's. BanyanTreats is now located in the Pioneer Inn where the concession stand once stood. Read more about the shop and movie theater on the building's plaque on the corner of Hotel and Front Streets.
