“With this pandemic, getting parts and running a small business is difficult. These people were terrific! Broke down transmission and many miles from home, they went beyond the call of duty. Mom boss is a wonderful human and the mechanic a great guy and gentlemen. Would definitely recommend them”

“I'm greeted before I get in the door and asked what I need help with. They've patched many flats for me. Always friendly. They make me happy rather than anxious to go to a tire shop because I always know what to expect.”

“First, I have to say the staff is very friendly. I looked at purchasing the car from their lot. I know about how the used car lot works. (If the fuel gauge is at a 1/4  and they clear a check engine light, it will actually stay off until you fill up the vehicle. So I drove it, drove fine. Noticed a few things like the driver seat wasnt working which was hard to drive the vehicle, so they took it to their shop and had it fixed. They called me the next day to let me know it was fixed which was great. I came 2 days later to sign documentation. I test drove it before hand and the fuel was still at a 1/4. So I took a long road test, no light, but it wouldn't come on anyway. Seemed to drive okay. So I drove the car home 1 hr away. Needed to get gas and boom. After I filled it up the CEL came on. The vehicle still drove fine. Hooked the vehicle to my snap on scanner (not a cheap one) and the codes that came up were knock sensors. Being a GM product its a common issue. My scanner also showed me that this was cleared multiple time before hand as the monitors would not be complete. So I messaged the owner and told him what was going on. He told me to drop it off on Monday so they could look at it. I thought to myself, drive 1hr to drop a vehicle off, drive 1 hr home, to wait and see what they would do,  I just didnt want to waste my time possibly putting in low quality parts to get me out the door. As I appreciate the offer to tell me to bring it in, I didn't. This weekend I tackled the job myself. Removed the intake manifold and behold someone had put a Dorman knock sensor kit which would cause the problem. So I purchased AC delco sensors, new harness, oil pressure switch while I was in there and replaced the valve cover gaskets. Luckily, I know how to work on my own cars. The point I'm trying to make is that I understand it's a used car, but to clear codes, leaving the fuel tank 1/4 of the way so that the CEL light doesn't come on isn't cool. Just be upfront with clients. Tell them hey we have the vehicle priced this way because it has issues. The truth goes a LONG way. You guys have a shop. Work with the client before hand instead after they purchase a vehicle thinking they had a great purchase only to come and find it has issues. I have resources available to me to make my rigs 100%, but some people may not have those resources. Anyway, the truck runs well for now, being a chevy I'm sure something will come up, but these are the things I'm aware of when buying a used vehicle. All in all, I still got a great price on my vehicle, well under kbb value, I only spent $400 in parts and took about 3.5 hrs to do the repairs, routine maintenance and preventative maintenance. So I have to say it's a wash. This isn't a negative review by any means. That's why I still give them 4 stars. To the future clients, bring a scanner when you test drive a vehicle, check the fuel level, if you dont have a scanner see if they would hook the shops scanner or go to an oreillys on your test drive to see if any codes have been cleared.”
