“Well I admit I was disappointed in obtaining a unit via the App. I needed an inside unit and I paid, I was assigned an outside unit. Immediately contacted your support and I could not understand what he was saying. So after being totally frustrated I canceled.
Fast forward a couple hours and I received a phone call from the actual storage facility and talked to Darren. 15 minutes later he had me in an inside unit and by the time I hung up I felt I’ve known him forever. What a pleasure!”

“Lawn and garden sales, service, and repairs. Good brands for sale, and service is always well done. Modest but good selection of quality lawn products and helpful staff. You can get your propane tanks refilled at a better price than at the propane tank exchanges at gas stations, too.”
“Review written 02/09/2026. They let me pick up truck early a few minutes before they opened at 7am they welcomed me in.
Truck pickup went smoothly.
They had truck pulled up and ready.
They had 1 way truck availability here whereas all locations in Champaign Urbana had no availability for 1 way trucks for months anytime I tried to make a reservation.
So I recommend this Bloomington Normal location as a pickup choice.
Just note there was a sheet of ice in part of parking lot (see photo), so be careful
Also note, they may not have a lock on back of truck latch, so you may need to be aware of this and ask about this and buy a lock , otherwise anyone could open back of truck and steal items”
“I researched for a week & discovered Red Dot Storage has the best prices. I called & was greeted courteously by the rep. He explained everything thoroughly, emailed the contract. He waited while I submitted payment. He ensured everything went thru & verified my gate code. He set me up on auto-pay & offered rates on their insurance. I am pleased & satisfied with my experience. I visited my unit & it is clean and in great shape. I opted for a 10'x10' unit that is climate-controlled. If you're looking for a storage unit, I highly recommend calling Red Dot Storage.”
“the units are nice and very secure however I am not pleased with how I had no choice in purchasing a new lock when I had one from last year. I was told to send a request to local to caretaker with picture of my lock and insurance proof and have not heard back or received credit”
