“I’d like to give a 5 star review to Midland Bank in Smithton, Il and especially Devon, on the front line. We were planning a high school 50th class reunion and we needed to open an account to start collecting funds and writing the necessary checks. There wasn’t anyone else on the committee who was able to find a bank that could meet our needs without a monthly fee for maintaining the account. I had already checked with other banks in town and they had no account that would work so I was very surprised when I went into Midland and Devon was happy to help! He was so knowledgeable about the different account options and was able to open a LivSimply account for us with only a $50 opening balance, no daily balance requirement and no monthly service fee. It’s exactly what we needed and the account was set up in a few minutes with Devon’s expertise! Eight months later our reunion is over and was a huge success. No where along the line was there even a hiccup with how smoothly the transactions went with Midland. Thanks so much to them and to Devon for making this banking experience so easy. I cannot recommend them enough!”

She helped with a mortgage auto pay set up that got taken out too soon. She had it resolved within minutes and money back in my account by the next day. I actually, look forward to going to the bank now. And, who says that? Thank you Erin! And, regions bank for hiring the very nice, understanding, smart, efficient, quick to solve a problem quickly and with a smile. She is wonderful, very professional young woman. “I have banked with you all for a couple years now and you guys are a great bank, but the hours. Why do you guys have to open at 9am. Why not 8am when people really need you to. I work 12 hour shifts and get off at 7am. It's hard to wait 2 more hours to just have to get back out to go to the bank. Even your drive thru being open earlier would help us people that work the graveyard shift out a lot. For we do have a lot of stuff to do already at 7 am when we get out of work and waiting for the bank to open should have to be one of them. If walmart can open at 6 am it's not a bad thing you guys open at 8 am, but hey what do i know I'm just an night shift worker.”

We got our mortgage through them (they service them through First Integrity, a very highly rated company across the river in Missouri) and they were very honest about where the mortgage would be transferred to.
