We tried Walgreens in Woodstock, McHenry, Crystal Lake, Walmart pharmacy in Woodstock it's always at least 30 minutes lines and employees looks tired and unhappy. Walmart team in Johnsburg always so nice and ready to help. Thank you!”

“Excellent experience!! I transferred a prescription here from McHenry Walgreens and the experience was night and day. They were so helpful, caring, and kind. They actually have time to care about the customer. After a week of trying to get a prescription from McHenry that they never filled despite telling me they would, Lakemoor transferred the medication and filled it in just a few minutes. This will be our new pharmacy going forward!”

“We love jewel osco stores for all our shopping needs. Jewel has been the best store in our area since I was a child. Others have come and gone like Dominic's supermarkets they were here for years also but always at a higher price point just like what is out there now for good food stick with jewel for cheaper food go to walmart for more expensive go to whole foods or get really good go to a Butcher shop for even a better price and way better meat”

“We have stopped here a few times when in the area and I will say that out of all the Walgreens we stop at this is better than most. Why you ask? Simply the employees are nice and willing to help while most other locations would rather hide in the back away from customers. All Walgreens are laid out the same for the most part so IMO comes down to service and they do pretty well here.”

“Needed some passport photos processed. I sent them the image and they had the pictures printed in less than an hour. I recommend you use a passport photo generator app and just print four 2x2" photos on one 4x4 sheet. This will cost you less than 50 cents and you will have 4 photos. Save yourself about 400% doing this. They also offered to cut them for me which was very nice of them. Highly recommend them.”

“So greatful my insurance covers prescriptions filled here again! They are so efficient and I hope to never have to switch back to the McHenry Walgreens across the street! On average, I spend over an hour on hold of I need to call that Walgreens, CVS had a 20 minute wait time when they went through a short period of being severally understaffed. Knowledgeable staff with great specifics on medication questions that never make me feel rushed and even though I only switched back to CVS a month ago, I've picked up many scripts for my mom & sister over the past 2 years (and then some when I would come visit from WI over the past 9 years).”

“I came in here tonight and John assisted in helping me find the items I needed. He was very kind, hospitable, and had great customer service skills. I really appreciate that especially considering most employees at other drugstore locations do not really care about helping the customer. I definitely think he should be manager if he already isn't because this is how employees should act. Take it from me, someone who is in the hotel business. I really appreciated John and his kindness. I must say John is truly a rare gem and I will be returning to this Walgreens from now on. Highly impressed!”

“So I recently moved 0.4 miles away from this CVS and as a previous Walgreen's snob, i was dejected and swore to only go in if absolutely necessary. I reluctantly signed up for a CVS Extracare card and switched my one prescription over. Well 4 months later, I end up here more than I care to admit! It is a perfect place to run for that one ingredient you forgot at the grocery store, the bottle of wine that you need on Friday night or, as in the case this morning, milk for the baby to drink. 9/10 times they have had what I was looking for. (They don't have tortilla shells... an assortment of other bread products but no tortillas.) I docked a star because sometimes cleanliness is an issue in this store and oh my Lawd, those receipts are the definition of deforestation. The employees are always friendly, helpful and attentive. And I roll in at maximum neediness, crying baby, hungover, stressed out, in my pajamas, etc. I haven't had any dealings with the pharmacy yet but I will later today. I am assuming they will also adhere to the high standards set by the front of store staff.”
