Been avoiding auto dealership service departments for 35 years of auto ownership because they generally cannot be trusted, and although Fort Madison has honest auto dealerships, places like Humburd make it easy to avoid dealerships. They are extremely professional, let me know what my financial responsibility would be prior to scheduling (no surprises at check out), and got me into the shop and my van’s exhaust fixed the same week! I highly recommend them. Bonus: their facility is modern, clean and they are up to date technology wise where they have a professional website, accept electronic payments, and are comfortable with texting for communicating and reminder/status updates.”

“We moved to this area two years ago and left behind an honest and excellent mechanic. However, T&A Auto has already filled his shoes! We have taken three vehicles to T&A, two of which are aging badly. T&A has done the work they needed quickly, affordably, correctly, and above all, honestly. I originally went to different place in Keokuk, where they told me I needed new shocks and new tires. Then I took it to T&A for an oil change and a second opinion, and he actually showed me why neither of those repair were needed yet. (He even apologized on behalf of the other mechanics who tried to upsell me unnecessarily. ) You can bet when we do need the work done, we will continue to take our cars to T&A. He is efficient, hard working and honest.”

As much as it was hard for me to pay the repair bill since we trucking companies are barely getting by in this hard time I have to say they were understandable about our situation. It cost me more than I thought it would in which half of the bill was parts but they were fair with their labor and got the job done. “Zach Dawson was very friendly, zero pressure to buy. Not what we expected from a dealership! We had to take our explorer back for warranty work. Once again the team went above and beyond. I even accidently dropped it off a week early. (I was a week ahead of myself). However they worked me in, and started to look at the issue. It's not resolved yet (vehicle is still there) but the assured me several times it was ok I messed up and I didn't need to feel like I had to come get the vehicle.”
