“We greatly appreciate the doctors hearing our concerns and collaborating with us on a treatment plan for our pet. Our visit came as a result of needing a 2nd opinion on a surgery. Dr. McKenzie listened to all our concerns, and presented multiple options in an easy to understand manner. When it became clear that surgery was needed, the surgeon, Dr. Weber, performed a seamless and minimally invasive procedure. She was quick to provide updates via phone call, and gave clear post-treatment instructions that have led to an easy-to-manage home care plan. We are so grateful to have our cat, Theo, alive and on the mend!”

“I was recommended to TOPS two years ago and due to life and possibly some denial we finally made the jump! Price is a big factor and I was worried about the longevity of my pet and financially affording it. The team met me with open arms, provided two plans that would work both financially and to benefit my pup! Everyone I have Met has been sincere, kind and helpful. Dr. Deanne and Dr. Christine have been beyond wonderful. My dog loves it there and the improvements my dog has made have made all the difference in our lives! From the moment you walk in, the team at the front is so kind and friendly it makes the visit great from start to finish!”
“We are new to the area and had to choose a new vet for our 13 year old kitty, Fonzie, who hadn't been feeling well. Someone recommended Mundelein Animal Hospital and after reading the reviews, we made an appointment. The person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and capable, and was able to get us in the same day. We saw a vet assistant who took all of our information and then the vet came in. We saw Dr. Feltes who was absolutely wonderful. She gave Fonz a very thorough exam, took X-rays and blood work and explained everything extremely well. She was very gentle with Fonzie, as was her assistant. We never once felt rushed and it's obvious this staff really loves animals. The entire visit was as positive as it could possibly be, given we were there with a patient who didn't want to be there. I highly recommend this animal hospital!”
“Brought my lovely dog Junior in for his skin issue, and The wonderful tech Alex was great even showed me care credit which I am very happy about.
Dr Koza was also wonderful, knowledgeable on my pets health and recommended options for me to keep him healthy for the future,
Over all as you can see in these pictures I will recommend this place for anyone who loves their pets(which should be all of us) to come here because they will treat them like their very own pet and do what it takes to get them healthy

“I've been to two other very highly rated vets in the area and this place is the best!!! First of all, you can get an apptvin a reasonable timeframe. Not months out! Three other vets would not work with my reactive dog and I, after trying a couple meds, said we needed a $600/hr vet behaviorist with multi month waits. Dr Malitsky spent an HOUR listening to my concerns, observing behavior, making recommendations, even did a desensitization session and the meds he needed to succeed. It was so much more than I hoped for. She was the FIRST animal professional in 8 months that had something positive to say about my dog ( instead of recommending returning to shelter for euthanasia, or saying it was going to be almost impossible) and for the first time I was hopeful. With the right meds and intensive training program, we've made so much progress, thanks to the Animal Hospital of Gurnee!”

“The vets here are the best!! I took my dog to multiple other vets where they told me that I needed to spend thousands of dollars to get his teeth cleaned for simple dentistry. When I took him to this place, the vet literally cleaned his teeth on the spot and explained how I could do it at home without any special equipment. They really do care about your animals!”

“This is the best vet office/hospital in the Chicagoland area. Private equity is not a thing here. Dr. Donna cares about her patients and will charge reasonable prices. We drive an hour to make sure our dog gets the care she deserves. For the people who are complaining about appointments etc, you don't know the cost of running a medical office. Yes I have to leave a voicemail message, but at least I can afford to take my pets here unlike everywhere else where they upcharge you on every little thing. Thank you Dr. Donna!”
