“The pieces anchoring my mail box to the post had rotted so I was able to take the old pieces in and staff helped me find the right size lumber, they cut it for me, as well as paint matched so I can repaint the post which has been several years and needs some help (so wood filler as well as sealer was recommended). I am not a diy person so having such great staff made this a really great hardware store experience.”

“The experience I’ve had with the cooking class has been amazing and seriously none threatening. Having people with varied experience in the kitchen does not make this difficult and the teacher/cook is attentive to every question you have during the class. Generally it’s two couples paired together but there were a good amount of people just coming to learn the recipes of the day which made it a relaxed collaboration for everyone. This is approachable and a great way to meet people if you choose to but learning and knowing that you can do recipes that sound hard is satisfying and makes me choose to come back for baking classes in the future.”

“On March 3, 2026, I had to purchase a washer. I went to a couple stores before I came to Home Depot in West Carmel, IN. When I walked in I was acknowledged by a woman named Tamara. I told her I was looking for a washer she told me where to go. I went to the dept and there was an elder guy helping another customer but he didn't speak or anything. Tamara came back around, asked if I had been helped and I told her no. She stopped what she was doing and got my quote for me. You don't get that often nowadays. I appreciate you Tamara please stay polite.”
“Allison and Gabrielle are wonderful individuals with a warm, welcoming demeanor dedicated to help clients. I highly encourage you directly ask for their assistance, as other team members avoided me and did not give me the time of day. Specifically avoid Matthew, (middle age balding) as he is very rude, and didn't offer to help transfer my data when I came to swap MacBooks. Dropped the computer at the counter, and when I was the only person in line he walked away. He should not be in a customer facing position, absolutely piss poor service from Matthew. However, Allison and Gabrielle are the exact opposite. THANK YOU Allison and Gabrielle!!!”

“Our gas fireplace quit working during this recent cold spell. A neighbor suggested we call Godby Home and Hearth on Rangeline Road in Carmel. We contacted them and their service tech, Nico, fixed the problem in a timely manner. He then explained their service plans, which fit well on our budget. We called the office and spoke to Cathy, who got us all setup. Both employees are a huge asset to Godby. The experience was extremely quick and easy.”
