“I walked into this location after a day of moving. I had just mounted my TV on the wall, only to realize I had broken my remote. I stopped at 3 other places trying to find a universal remote, unsuccessfully.Not only did Big Lots have them, they were also well priced. Best of all, since I was so worn out from the day moving, I simply asked a worker if they had them, hoping to directed to abouts the location. I was pleasantly pleased to not only get the *exact* location of said item, but also quick check out and great overall service.Dont sleep on Big Lots! This locations employees are top tier.”

“Always a friendly face when you walk in the door. Their selection of items and food varies a lot. I wouldn't buy electronics here, go to the big retailers for that. But I would get organic foods, and toiletries here. I would consider Meijer a little more classy than Wal-Mart, but then again Wal-Mart isn't the best place. If I were forced to pick between the two, I'd choose Meijer. Let's put it like that.”

“Today while shopping I had a great experience with Salem. It was her first day she mentioned as her team member next to her helped her. She was dressed very well and very well spoken. She was pofessional and treated me with great customer service! I made sure to tell her she looked well and was doing a great job yo not let her managers get her down. The shift coordinator (her tag said this) was standing right behind her griping about the manager scheduled her wrong because she didn't put her availability sheet in the binder that she just shoved it somewhere. I find this extremely unprofessional to be speaking so loudly about her work issues that not only the customer but he new team member could hear. I can tell this disturbed Salem as well. Possibly if the 2 ladies would stop griping and work the manager would have more time. Good job Salem! And good luck! Possibly she should move up into management one day!”

You can find some real gem pieces here, from very popular brands that Nordstrom sells at their non-outlet stores. Madewell and Free People are my favorite! Highly recommend. “This is more of a thank you than a review, although the Sunnyside Kohls is a wonderful store--well organized and stocked, clean and pleasant. I owe all the staff a HUGE debt of gratitude. My 3 year old grandson took off and hid from me while we were shopping yesterday. His big brother and I looked for him, loudly calling his name nearby for a few minutes with no luck. I went quickly to the front and reported to the (occupied!) cashier who IMMEDIATELY called for all hands on deck. Even with ALL the staff calling his name and covering the exits it took several minutes--seemed forever!--to find him, but they did!! He of course was found safe, hiding and totally unconcerned. HUGE THANKS and APPRECIATION for the great training and rapid response of everyone at Kohls Sunnyside! I will definitely continue shopping here--but won't be bringing my little escape artist until he knows better!”

“I go to this Target wayyy more than for my own good. My last visit was exceptionally great because I received great customer service when I needed to return an item I bought from another location. The associate gave me fast, friendly service. My complaint with this store is that it seems to need a bit of help keeping regular household items in stock. With the college crowd and the shopping center location, there are always tons of people in this store (unless you're making a late night run, which again, I do way more than I should). I love the clearance shelves even though it feels like you have to really search for markdown items.”

“Target is why I survived two pandemic pregnancies. The drive-up service is so helpful. Days I could barely stand to smell anything... drive-up. Days I didn't have the energy to take my toddler old shopping... drive-up. Now the days I have both kids alll day (so every single day)... drive-up. Seriously I cannot live without this service. It is an efficient process too. I have a few complaints, however. First complaint is that at least one item I need is not in stock at this location and often a good substitute isn't available. Second is that there are times items are forgotten but lately that has not happened. It would usually be the bigger items like cat litter. The inside of the store is always decently clean and doesn't look like a wreck. All the employees I have encountered have been pleasant and helpful.”
