“Loved it, me and my group had a great time. Nice variety in the gift shop, and the trail is pretty long and has lots of statues. We went when there was a ton of snow on the ground so everything was very pretty. My only gripe is the fact that it’s so commercialized, the gift shop is mandatory when you go in and out. I understand it’s a no-profit thing, but it’s a little funny that right after you witness the ascension you’re bombarded with hallmark statuettes that cost $500. But still a fun experience! Will be going again in the summer.”

“Love Love Love this organization and what it stands for!! Ms. Purdy is very passionate about helping others in need. Her work does not go unnoticed....So glad we were able to support the mission so that gently worn/new shoes may be distributed throughout the world, targeting desperately impoverished areas. We appreciate you Ms. Purdy and your mission to help those in need. :)”

“HEARTS IN MOTION Resale Shoppe of Schererville, IN is conveniently located on Rt 41 South of Rt 30 (West). It was my first visit & stopped to look at formalwear for an impromptu event. The selection was ample and prices were 50% off that day. Unfortunately, I didn’t find what I was looking for but the store clerks were very helpful. The racks were stocked and organized making it easier to navigate the donations. The front of the store housed newer & vintage kitchen dishes, household appliances, linens, furniture and decor items. I thought the goblets and fancy glassware for champagnes were beautiful & some displayed up by the checkout counter. I didn’t leave with much on my trip but do plan on a return visit soon. HEARTS IN MOTION is affiliated with a charity & this makes it most valuable in my eyes. I recommend stopping the next time you are in the area. I am not affiliated with HEARTS IN MOTION Resale Shoppe.”

“My 1st day walking in, I was anxious of what I was going to experience, but when I met with one of the staff and took a tour of the school, I was blown away. It was clean, it SMELT FRESH! I mean that daycare smell was not there. Then the staff, Oh my! They are awesome. The superior quality of attention, love, care and education they showed and impart unto the children came natural to them. I LOVE This place and my kid is having a swell time learning, and making new friends too. Great Job!! Mrs. Burton (Exec.Dir.) Ms. Campbell, Ms. Chris, Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Mary at the front window, Ms. Xaoyan and the entire teaching staff of woodland, you guys are the best!!!”

“So far I’ve been very impressed. I’ve been to this location a few times. My first time was the initial sign up for membership and which I want to head and did the first year upfront for the family. I feel it is better to go to a place that caters to the whole. The lady I walked with was very nice and showed me all of the aspects of the location. I thought it was a bit small, but who are we kidding? This is a town, not a Siri. There’s a small gym area. But for what I personally need, it’s a great place. It isn’t as big as the Hammond or Southlake location, but unlike those location, everything works! I’ve had a great experience with the staff so far, and it seems to be clean enough. I haven’t visited the locker rooms or even the classes. But when I do, I’ll be sure to update. So far, I would recommend.”

“This was my first time at the wic store since 1995. I didn’t remember how everything worked. The manager helped me and I am truly thankful for her. She went beyond her ability to help me and to make me feel comfortable. I would like to say that we need more good humans like her.”

“We adopted this guy in October of 2020. We'd just lost our dog of 15 years who was extremely attached to my husband. Benson had just lost the dad he was extremely attached to. As the foster dad stated, "This one is a slam dunk!". They took great care in matching Benson up with us - he needed special attention, a sibling dog and a lot of love.I realized after reading many of the unhappy reviews, that people are upset when they're rejected, or don't hear back. I attribute this to the extreme amount of scrutiny MWDR places on examining the rescues and the candidates. And yes - I'm happy because I was selected. But also - we were right for one another.Since adopting I've participated in transferring rescues from Highland, IN to foster homes, or hand-off transports. This requires a lot of coordination. MWDR checks all the boxes. They're worthy of your time, your money and your understanding if t doesn't work out for you.”
