One of the nicest book stores we've visited. They have such a huge selection of rare and vintage books. If you're ever in town, don't forget to check it out and if you're lucky, you'll meet the beautiful Sophie the black lab.

Black Dog Books is housed in a Civil War era house at the heart of Zionsville's historic Village.
We carry gently read, rare/collectible books. We specialize in fine leather bindings and classics. Also featured, are books by Indiana authors and some new books.
Our black lab Sophie greets everyone. We have a large children's room called Pooh Corner. The main room features a cozy fireplace with comfy leather chairs on both sides. We also sell beautiful paintings by local artists. Our antiquarian maps, and journals, also make great gifts. If you need help finding a book, we can help.
