From Wichita Workforce Center
The Workforce Centers of S. Central KS exist to serve employers and job-seekers alike. The mission is to supply a robust workforce in the local area utilizing federal tax dollars and additional grants to connect clients with occupational skills training and other related resources.
The Workforce Center is not the Department of Labor and therefore not the unemployment office. In addition, the Workforce Center has no affiliation with DTC Workforce.
Currently the bridge located on Amidon between 13th and 21st street is under construction and will be inaccessible until sometime in October of 2023. When traveling north to the Workforce Center please use Waco or West Street to reach 21st street.
