From Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society
The Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society is a private, local animal welfare organization. We are not in any way affiliated with the Pulaski County Animal Shelter. We collaborate frequently with the Pulaski County Animal Shelter on an as needed and case by case basis. All of our animals reside in loving foster homes, saving them the trauma of a traditional animal shelter.
The Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society is a designated 501c3 nonprofit organization, 100% volunteers.
Our mission is multi-faceted, focusing on the areas of:
* Prevention of animal cruelty
* Community education regarding proper care and treatment of animals
* Promotion of spay/neuter programs
* Encouragement of pro-animal legislation
* Pet Rescue & Adoption
