“Last night around 9:00 pm our Chevy Silverado overheated with a broken water pump. We had to park and leave it directly across the street from Ray Chevrolet. This morning at 7:00 am my husband went to the dealership to see if they could fix it for us. We are from VA and currently on vacation in LA....so not current customers. HOWEVER, 3 hours later they had retrieved the truck and repaired the truck!!! Purchase your next vehicle from Ray Chevrolet....service there is awesome!!! “A co-worker recommended this shop for my wife’s car. The vehicle is a Kia K-900 which are rare and parts are hard to find. The A/C stopped cooling and it was brought to the local Lafayette Kia dealership for diagnosis and repair and the estimate was 1800$ for a “leaking evaporator” which even I knew was not leaking so I sought a second opinion and was quoted around 600$ at Nu-Tek with a different diagnosis. The original repair was going to require that the whole dashboard be removed but after replacing the compressor valve and re-charging the system (which was included with the quote) the A/C is fixed. The car was there for a week only because they had to order the part but once the part arrived the car was ready that day. Great communication from staff and friendly service. On a different note, I brought my work truck (Mack dump truck) there a year ago for A/C repair and have had no issues since. Not sure if they routinely work on commercial vehicles like this but they took care of it in one day.”

“After searching endlessly for a RELIABLE mechanic that was actually interested, WANTED the job and did NOT put us off, mislead us, nor give us the runaround like the others, my husband and I FINALLY found a hidden GEM!!! Our own dealership REFUSED to honor our extended warranty that we now are aware is one of the TOP TIER comprehensive warranties on the market!! Phil was so EAGER, optimistic and WILLING to do whatever necessary to SAVE my engine from catastrophic failure, while others told us to trade our 4 year old vehicle in, instead!! Every other local shop I visited MISDIAGNOSED it, giving us a different opinion, while Phil was the only one that ACCURATELY dignosed it, ACCEPTED our warranty, ORDERED the parts, and had our Jeep REPAIRED and FINISHED overnight!! HIs wife, Christina, handled the warranty company and had an APPROVAL and processed the transaction within an hour. This was the most HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE and SEAMLESS experience I've had since moving to Abbeville 15 years ago!!! Their prices are REASONABLE as well. We're RELIEVED to FINALLY find a TRUSTWORTHY, KNOWLEDGEABLE mechanic that has INTEGRITY. Don't waste your TIME or MONEY on anyone else. They are what true Christians are made of, in our book and have gained a loyal customer!!

“So far it seems the work they did which was quite a bit has been good. It was interesting that they straightened out the auto frame and replaced parts of purchased for only 7 45, but on that same car I had to purchase a plastic undercarriage cover from Giles which they installed and I paid $740 for that. Giles was a rip off”
“My wife and I are full time RVers and found ourselves stranded in the area due to a badly overheating engine. We "limped" into Terry's without notice and asked if he could help us as we had no other choices. Although he had an extreme backlog, he agreed to look at our engine and quickly diagnosed the problem and took measures to get us back on the road. “The asked if I wanted to rotate my tires, I was at 6k miles. I thought it was at every 10k miles you rotate your tires but I guess with new vehicles you change it every oil change. My car did also have some dust from grass cutting the day before and I thought they had a courtesy wash with every oil change, my car was still dusty after I received it back with the oil changed.”
“I stopped in because my car was making a very worrisome noise. John drove my car, put it up on a rack, and determined that the bolts on my passenger side brake caliper were loose, causing the noise. He tightened everything up, test drove it again and refused to charge me a dime! I haven't been so shocked in a long time. Not only was everyone extremely kind and friendly, but I walked out of an auto shop without spending any money. I just moved to Abbeville, but I've found my new mechanic! Just fantastic people all the way around. Thank you guys so much!!”

He is responsive, showed up on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my vehicle. The repair was done efficiently, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Pricing was fair, especially considering the convenience of him coming to me. I’d definitely recommend their services to anyone needing reliable & honest automotive repair service. “I've been there more than once and could not be more pleased with my experience. Floyd took care of a couple of issues for me ( at no cost) that were a pain in the butt.
