The decision was so difficult but, the vet and vet associates were so comforting.When we went to pick up his ashes, they were in a beautiful carved wooden box, I will have a brass plate made to commemorate my sweet big boy.”

I cannot even explain (BUT I WILL TRY) - I WOULD NOT CALL THIS A FACILITY ! ?IT IS A HOME?with An Entire Staff that is so understanding, personal, kind, very knowledgeable, & full of compassion. My Lena is home & doing fantastic. Our lives have changed because of the severity of the location of her cyst one fall, playing with the wrong toy or accidentally bumping her jaw could completely shatter the remainder of jawbone. Dr. Richey explained in detail how there was not enough left to attach bone graft. But I will tell you this. They have become a part of our family and will be the first in the event an injury happens. ?HIGHLY RECOMMEND?”

“I moved my 15 year old cats to the care of Dr. Liz Eastin at Old Hammond Veterinary Hospital last year. Dr. Liz is the most compassionate, caring vet I have ever had for my animals. She is hands on from the exam to the lab results. While she has vet techs to assist, she is the one handling my cats. So often she has to employ manual "old school" methods to ensure proper and thorough diagnostics are obtained while still at her office. Her dedication to ensuring the owner understands the tests, results, diagnosis and prognosis is commendable and noteworthy. The stafff at Old Hammond Veterinary exemplify the same level of care and attention. I am so sorry it took me this long to experience Old Hammond Veterinary Hospital, but for any future pets, this will be home.”

I have bad allergies and she grooms him to help with his shedding. He's always so soft and smells so good when I pick him up. I would highly recommend her. This was my first time visiting Coursey Animal Hospital, and when I called and explained the situation the vet squeezed me in to his already busy schedule. My poor baby was scared and did not respond well to going to the vet, but Dr. Bob did not push him past his limits and only did what was absolutely necessary as to not traumatize him further. Throughout the entire visit I was updated on what was going on and was given an explanation for every action taken. As much as I hated knowing my cat was scared, I knew he was in good hands with a doctor who understood his limits.
