“One of the best customer service experiences I have had. I brought my trailblazer in due to a flat tire I had while traveling back home at night on the Basin bridge. I called the service center the next morning and left a message. A young lady told me someone would call me back. Mr. Robert Thibodeaux called me back within a minute. I explained my situation and he said I could come in at anytime. My tire unfortunately had to be replaced and could not be fixed, and the tire would need to be ordered. It would not be in until the next business day. It was currently Friday so that would not be until Monday unfortunately. I explained I commute daily from Lafayette to Baton Rouge and would not be able to ride on my spare. I would need a rental from Friday until Monday. Mr. Robert informed me of ARE rental that they work with frequently. He called them immediately on my behalf. He explained my situation and there was a rental ready for me at that moment. I told him I would have to go back home and have a relative bring me to pick up the rental. He was worried I might miss out on the rental. Then, one of the other employees, Ms. Deanna, unexpectedly and graciously offered to drop me to the rental place. I was really taken back by all the kindness. That saved me so much time. She was really friendly and nice. We had a great laugh on the way to the rental place. Two complete strangers lol I arrived to the rental place and Heather at ARE was already expecting me since Mr. Robert called and coordinated the rental. My rental was ready. Signed a few papers and went back to Courtesy to gather my belongings. The total to replace the tire was going to be over $250. Then, Mr. Robert inquired if I have the easy care package. I told him I was unsure but he proceeded to look into this for me anyway. He said he would continue to look into it and call me back with an update. He said if I had any questions or needed anything to please give him a call and gave me his card. Well, of course, he calls me back later and says, I was able to have the cost covered for you. No payment will be required. Wow. Because of his initiative, dollars were saved which is critical in today's economy. I am detailing all of this because, being stranded the night before on the basin bridge with heavy traffic while waiting almost an hour and a half for triple A was nerve wrecking in itself. I also had to be to work the next day. However, God was still good because He brought me home safely and put me in the path of wonderful employees such as Robert Thibodeaux and Ms. Deanna who made my experience and transition very smooth. I had much going on that day and they may have as well. We are all dealing with things daily at work and outside of work. But, despite that, they showed me, a stranger, exceptional and friendly customer service. These two are significant assets to your company and all around great human beings. I recommend recognition, raise, and promotion to the highest degree available.
