“The doctors and staff at Lakeshore Vet are nothing short of amazing in every aspect of their service. We have gone to Dr. Wheeler since she took over the practice and have always received the most detailed, comprehensive care for each of our pets. Even with our traveling between two homes and out-of-state, Lakeshore Vet has gone above and beyond in assisting us. “We love NAH. I always leave feeling so well informed and in charge of my pet’s care. My dog has terrible anxiety, and for as loveable as he is at home, inside the vets office he can be a handful. He’s 55lbs and will cry, whine, and occasionally become defensive when feeling scared. They never once have made me feel like he wasn’t welcome or as if he was bothersome. They have always met him at his level (even when most would be nervous to) with kindess, love, and sympathy. Although he may be a drama king during his visits, he leaves a happy boy with his tail wagging, and a belly full of treats. I can always count on the front desk to have a wonderful attitude any time I call or walk in as well. They have meds ready same day for me and can fit me in same day if I call with an emergency. I couldn’t recommend these guys any more. Thanks NAH!”

“Southpaws did exploratory facial surgery on my basset hound YoYo when we could not find out was causing her facial swelling. I was distraught with how big her face had gotten but Dr. Newton reassured me we would get it under control. They went in cleaned up the tissue on the inside, started her on antibiotics, and sent tissue samples off. Yo-yo has been perfect since the surgery and has made a full recovery! I highly reccomend Southpaws for your surgical needs with your animals!”

Veterinary services are top notch, boarding is convenient and all the staff welcome my pup by name. It is the only vet that my dog actually gets excited to visit.”
“We've taken our dogs to them prolly since they opened in 2005 and this place is amazing. Our last dog, a maltise, lived to 19.5 years old. As tough as it was with him passing away, without Devun, he prolly wouldnt have made it to 19.5. Our dog now, who is 5, is also a maltise, and Devun has continued to do a phenomenal job with him. They do any and everything they can for your pet and they show you how to take care of them in the best way.
But the thing that means the most is that they care. They'll call you and check on your pet if they needed to give them medication.
We're very lucky to have DeVun.”

“Super efficient argent care. The saw my dog who had a bad UTI and blood in the urine on a Sunday. They checked for other possible causes and issues, and sent us with medications and a follow up plan for our regular vet. We thought it was reasonably priced and we were very glad to get our dog seen that day.”
