“Wonderful experience with John. Made an appt on Friday for Monday at 10 am. Got there a little before 10.. The place was filled with cars and I though I am going to have a long wait. Met John told him I had an appointment to install headlight. Within minutes John removed the old headlight and installed the new one. John actually felt guilty at what he was charging as the light was very expensive. Not his fault and I was very pleased to be on my way within 20 minutes. “There are lots of places to buy tires in Massachusetts but we buy all our tires at Don Foshay's. Over the years, these folks have serviced our Honda, Lexus, ram truck, Acura, Porsche and now BMW. The team here really knows about tires. They have fixed flat tires due to nails, sold us all season and snow tires for our truck and for our higher end cars. The most recent experience was a purchase of a complete wheel, TPMS and snow tire setup for a BMW. They were careful to listen to what I was looking for- a high end snow tire, very good but not OEM wheels and I wanted a smaller tire for winter but didn't want my speedometer to be effected. Don Foshay's nailed the ask offering me several options along the way. This place is always busy but they always find a way to get you in if there is an emergency. I was leery at first with "discount" in the name but have found them to be fair, knowledgeable and great to work with for any level vehicle. A very friendly group at the store as well.”

“This was the third time that I had taken my car into Don Foshay’s in Camden Maine. Each time the service has been timely, excellent, and performed by very efficient and pleasant service people. This time was no exception. The initial reason for going was for my annual inspection, which was performed thoroughly and timely once again. While doing the inspection a very efficient service person whose name was Ryan discovered that the Cabin Air Filter was degraded, and was allowing a cloud of white salt like particles to fill the inside of the car. This was extremely undesirable, and I had not been able to find anyone up to this point who could diagnosis this problem. Ryan diagnosed it immediately. He installed a new filter and then tested it over the course of several hours in order to make sure that it was operating properly, and that all the particle debris was flushed out. I felt that this service was excellent, thorough, knowledge driven, and as a result, I was a very satisfied customer. In the future, I shall return to Don Foshay’s’s in Camden Main for all my automotive needsServices: Air & cabin filter replacement”

Not sure if that's always the case, or if I got lucky.Employees were nice. There's a picnic table, in the shade by the edge of the woods, where you can sit and wait.It was also the same price as the local garage that I typically use.”

“Gibbs is my first time for anything I need done on my cars through the years. Starting with brakes done at another garage that sounded horrible, to doing a total check over on a new used car. I take my cars, my parents cars and now my childrens cars there routinely to get any work done. If you want reliable trustworthy work done this is the place. Muffler work is way less expensive here as well as they have the equipment to patch and bend pipes In house. If you start to sound like a loud monster truck and your driving a van, go to gibbs. They fix it quick and economicaly.”

“Great service experience! We had a chevy truck with a windshield wiper arm that snapped off frozen in a snow storm. It was raining snow and sleet, the arm broke at night and the car wasn't drivable. The next morning it was still storming and every other garage we called said they were busy plowing come back tomorrow. This garage let us come in the same day and fixed the wiper within minutes. Thankful for the speedy service in a pinch.”
