“We stopped at a lot gift shops at our time in Portland and this was one of the better ones. Everything in the shop is, as it states, Made in Maine. And most all of it is real nice, quality stuff. Great selection of items.”
“Had alot of great options for going more green. Please note going more green means paying more green. They had our tooth paste tablets we were ordering online. Plan to try their shampoo bars once i finish the ones i have. No receipt (which is green) however please verify your total. I think i was charged for more items then i purchased which is why i put 4 stars.”
“After following Campfire Pottery online for a while, I had the pleasure of visiting their store in person person February 2022. The pieces were even more beautiful in person and it helped me confidently purchase my new dinner set. We love everything, but the everything bowl and the ramen bowl are HUGE hits. +++ this handmade dinnerware looks wonderful with my vintage flatware.”

61 India St, Portland“Finally found the adult coloring book I’ve wanted forever (but didn’t know existed!), and some wonderful holiday gifts. Honestly just hanging out in this lovely little store was so much fun.”
10AM - 6PM
6 Free St, Portland“Cute local eclectic shop if you’re looking for souvenirs that are not your regular touristy faire. They have a few prints and stickers from some artists as well as t shirts. Owners were friendly as well as the sweet shop dog. Worth the trek off the main area. By far our favorite shop we visited in Portland.”
“This store is the absolute cutest. My girlfriend and I visited this shop today while walking around Portland and loved it. So much great and adorable Maine memorabilia. The woman at the front was really helpful with finding TShirt sizes, and the cashier was nice and interested in what we were buying. Check it out!”
“Laura is not only helpful but a delight to talk to. So happy to have found Irish rasher bacon and black and white puddings for an Irish breakfast fix away from Ireland. For any of those of you looking for kooky and classy objets then you’ve found the place. Can’t recommend the place enough!”
“Cute little shop with a ton of items! We got a bottle of local chunk honey (a piece of honeycomb in a jar of liquid honey), a bottle of regular local honey, a 4" square of local honeycomb, and a small piece of chocolate covered honeycomb (not local). The only thing we won't get again is the chocolate covered honeycomb as it just wasn't as good as the other items. Can't wait to try some more items once these are gone!”
“I went here in 2019 and am still obsessed with their logo and the saying. Bought a hat, 3 hooded shirts, a lobster and more. Please sell your logo on a patch and continued prosperity.”

172 Middle St, Portland“I bought a few jars of their mango body butter, one as a birthday gift and one for myself. They're so luxurious -- so rich and smooth, and they smell so good! I'll probably buy the kiwi one next, which will be a good summer scent.”
“While in Portland we shopped here and found some great gift items for the people back home. When we arrived home we realized that an item that we purchased was not in the bag with everything else. I called the store and spoke to them about what happened. They shipped the item to my home with no drama. They are good people.”
“Hands down the cutest stationery in Portland! I want to give the team at Gus & Ruby a massive shoutout for their incredible customer service. I was trying to order an item online, and I emailed them asking if I could pick-up in store so I wouldn't have to pay for a shipping fee. They emailed me back immediately and set up the in-store option for me. How freaking sweet?!Whenever I am in the area, I stop by so I can check out all their stuff. My favorite is the holiday cards, which they often change for all of the holidays.”

449 Forest Ave, Portland“MY FAVORITE CRYSTAL SHOP, amazing prices and staff is so sweet and open to answering any questions about your craft that you may have. thank you thank you for another great experience. i come here every year when i visit Maine and it never disappoints!”
“Small but cute!Selection is unique and the card collection is adorable. We will definitely come back next time I am in the area.Staff was also very friendly and attentive.”
“Freak Street has the friendliest service and their hats/shirts are less than half the cost of the gift shop two doors down. I would definitely return here for Portland, Maine memorabilia. They also do screen printing if that's what you're after.”
10AM - 6PM
83 Commercial St, Portland“Great little gift shop to purchase gifts/souveneirs that are Maine/Portland related. We stopped in to pick up all of our gifts for our relatives in other states. Compared to some of the other places, it's very well organized.”
10AM - 4PM
111 Commercial St, Portland“We've been to their Quechee flagship store and glassblowing studio, where the Simon Pearce artisans create beautiful works of art, so being able to visit their Portland retail store is great. They have gorgeous handblown glass drinkware, serveware, lighting, candle holders, pumpkins, animals, and other items. We especially love the evergreen trees. They also have hardwood bowls, trays, cutting boards, etc. and pottery. ”
“Absolutely love this store! Whenever I visit from California I make it a point to stop in here and buy something. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Everything here is beautiful and a great value. Highly recommend stopping here when checking out Portland!”
“Down East Marketplace at Portland International Jetport is a great place to get a gift or find a tasty snack. This place seems to have it all gift wise and I was able to check off a lot of people on my list all in one stop. They have some cool and creative gifts that I did not see anywhere else and the prices were a good value accounting for where it was at. This is a good place to go while you are waiting for your flight as you will find that special item and have a little bit of fun and be entertained. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable and keeps the line moving when you are ready to purchase your items and be on your way to your plane. Down East Marketplace comes through when you need it.”
“I've placed several different orders in the last several months. It always went smoothly, and gifts were dropped off in great condition. Five star experiences each time. They drop off at the time you want if you give a heads up.These recent 1 star reviews are ridiculous. If you are walking in on mothers day last minute, or live very far away, you are making it harder on EA. Use your noggin”
“This is a great gift shop on Long Island - perfect for picking up a hostess gift, a sweatshirt for those cool nights, or a birthday card. They have an amazing selection including books, stuffed animals and toys for kids, candles, snacks, jewelry, mugs - it's a lot of fun to shop around. The staff are all volunteers and it's obvious they love their work. Look for the sign on the road - afternoon hours only - but a great stop on your bike trip or your hike to the state beach.”
