I work at Hopkins so come to Gertrude often with visitors. It does the job well. Visitors are impressed with crabcakes. I get my vegetarian dish or fish. Excellent service. Not very good coffee. Atmosphere is excellent.

Great dinner, excellent service from Emily and Clay, not rushed at all. Nice birthday surprise at dessert from our servers. Gret place to eat if you're visiting the Baltimore Museum of Art-it's right in the museum building.
Best for Crab Cakes Because: John Shields is an expert on Chesapeake cuisine. He's appeared on PBS and has authored several books.
