“Went today for an urgent visit because my doctor’s office recently had the doctor leave after less than one month and the Nurse Practitioner that I really liked (after meeting for 1 visit) was out today and tomorrow so the person answering phones there suggested I go to Urgent Care. I happened to see a sign near Fairwood Safeway and thought I’d try Excelsior out hoping for less crowds, less waiting and kinder staff. I hit the jackpot on all of that. I offered a suggestion to add a hook in restroom for purses/jackets and they thanked me and it’s on their list. Liz Rivas, NP, was so knowledgeable and down to earth. Now that I know they also do Primary Care, I’m strongly considering them. Just read the reviews about John’s Hopkins in Bowie and will definitely not go there. Excelsior Urgent Care had smiling welcoming staff, clean, bright facility and excellent services.”

“Very valuable service provided with great professionalism and compassion. Had a parent who was experiencing some medical issues but would not go to the doctor. So finding Metro Direct Care Medical and Dr Kinney was a Godsend. He was able to come out and perform an in person exam of my father who didn't even have to leave his favorite chair. The doctors direct and friendly manner was such that my father cooperated fully and did not protest. The exam itself was much more thorough and long lasting than I thought it would be and the doctor stayed around and chatted for awhile about what his diagnosis was. There was no sense at all of rushing in and out to get to the next patient. He even suggested a house call phlebotomist who we used later so Dad could get blood work done also. Even more impressive to me he called a couple weeks later to check up on how Dad was doing. Highly recommended.”

“First and foremost competent & trustworthy doctors and staff. Timely and efficient service. Been with this awesome full service medical group since 2012. Even when navigating early in the pandemic, the train was slower and realignments were needed and made the wheels never came off the train and the train never left the tracks! Many perks — I don’t have to remember any of my routine testing out side of the group like my colonoscopy. I’m a senior so medication management is important for me - they do that too.. One medical actually “manages” all my health care and healthcare needs. They understand not everyone is Tech Savvy - they some how manage to get it done -whereas other healthcare providers most often have the “too bad figure it out (yourself) Importantly it is relatively cheap compared to other boutique medical providers. It’s very much affordable for a person such as myself — a retiree of modest mean can pay with a degree of comfort. I can’t say enough about why you too should have One Medical.”
