My family has been taking our vehicles here for years and every time we have that been there we have received excellent service! These guys are very friendly, knowledgeable, dependable & down to earth. Above all, THEY ARE HONEST! I really don't know much about cars other than the very basics and unfortunately have had many bad experiences with unhonest repair shops that have ripped me off. At J & S, I've only had good experiences with honest and trustworthy service. If you don't really need something, they don't try to upsell you on unnecessary parts or repairs. “This place is the best! I called on Friday due to having some dash lights on. I was able to get an appointment within the hour. Took it up and Bobby and the guys told me that my car was NOT safe to drive for much longer and had the potential of having the transmission fail. I was given a new battery and an appointment on Monday. Monday comes and I drop the car off. They were kind enough to drive me back home. 6 hours later- my car is as good as new! All the techs were great to talk with. Great service. Great group of guys. .. Oh- big bonus - they have the most adorable black lab named Gus who likes to give kisses! 10/10 would recommend again! “Thank heaven for places like the Hot Rod Garage. Dean (co-owner?) stopped by my house on his way home to look at the suspension problem on my '36 Olds. Free of charge. Who does that nowadays? They fixed the suspension (replaced both coil springs) and several other issues needing attention: timing, tightened distributor, carb adjustment, carb cleaning, repaired voltage regulator, new alternator, new boots for all ball joints, checked the a/c, fixed the aftermarket windshield wiper assembly and adjusted the emergency brake. Some of you true street rod enthusiasts are probably rolling your eyes that I needed some of these things done but for someone like me, who's just getting into it and who just bought the car, I am extremely thankful to have stumbled across these guys (thanks google). Honest, fair, helpful and efficient - all descriptives rarely applied to mechanics in general - much less to craftsmen in such a highly specialized field (where the opportunities for price gouging may be ripe). Five stars and a hearty recommendation from me.”

Easy weekly payments for an inspected, but not always a pretty vehicle is the recipe his company has used for over 30 years. The cars are inspected and should give you reliable transportation until you can afford a newer car through conventional means.”
