“I moved to Frederick about a year ago and had noticed a leak in my vehicle. I took it to a dealership in Frederick and was quoted $2,200 to replace my radiator. Thankfully, a coworker referred me to Spikes Auto.
When I brought my car to Spikes, they took a look and discovered that the problem was simply a loose cap. Instead of charging me for a repair I didn’t need, they fixed the actual issue. I don’t remember the exact amount, but I believe my total was only around $52.
Since then, I’ve continued taking my vehicle to Spikes for service. I’ve been charged as much as $180 for an oil change at other places, while Spikes charges about half that. I live approximately 30 minutes away, and an Uber home after dropping off my car costs me around $50. By the time I factor in the transportation, I could probably get an oil change closer to home for about the same overall cost.
But honestly, I would pay triple to know that I’m getting honest service. Nothing beats quality work, fair pricing, and excellent customer service. It is incredibly rare to find an auto repair shop where you can genuinely trust that you’re being told the truth about what your vehicle needs.
Spikes Auto has earned my trust, and that is worth more to me than convenience or distance. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. You won’t regret it!”

“Installed used Michelin tires on custom rims for my H3 Hummer. Excellent service. Inspected tires and rims then installed them. All run smooth and true. Year later had a slow leak. Found a few pin hole leaks in side wall. Advised me they can't fix it, I decided not to worry as it's super slow. They are good!!!!
12/15/25 just finished some repair work on my Chevy bolt wheels and mounted new tires. Excellent work! I gave up a long time ago using retail shops such as Walmart. These guys are the best for wheels and tires I always use them now. They are worth any extra price because they always do it the right way and treat me with respect. My thanks goes out to Joe.
