I brought him an estate ring that was left to me by my grandmother along with some assorted gold jewelry to sell. Not only did he offer me the most money but we sat together and he explained step by step how he tests the gold with various gold acids on a stone to determine the karat.
The trip to Downtown Boston was both profitable and educational! I highly recommend Cambridge Jewelry and Jim. I will definitely be back.”

There's a necessary level of trust when doing this, and it felt trustworthy and even though I am not experienced, the pieces were all identified as what I thought they were. He also helped with some appraisals of other things I was curious about but not parting with. Will be back if I have anything else to let go of.”

Once finished,.she not only educated us about the Boston metro system but walked us to the platform (across the mall) and explained each stop. She then, to my shock, bought my ticket for me! I’m visiting Boston for a few days, and saw that there was a Shinola store near my hotel - they’ve carried my favorite journal for years, but had discontinued my favorite color. Just for the heck of it I took a peak on the website and saw that it was back! So I was on a mission when I walked in and was so happy to see the oat colored journals! I was given a warm welcome from all three employees - Christian, Logan, and Sara(h?). I also had a pen refill that I was unsure if it would fit with any of their pens, and they were more than happy to give it a try! Great environment and staff.”

He patiently explained everything to me and was honest about the wait time. I was not pressured to buy anything else to “establish a relationship”. Rolex ADs being rude and snobby is not the case with this AD and at least with Christian.
