The Cape Ann Community Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit, whose primary purpose is to enhance the economic environment and overall quality of life of the Cape Ann region and the four Cape Ann communities of Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea and Rockport. The Foundation will carry out and sustain its mission through a variety of means including, but not limited to: promotion, community and economic development, fundraising, including the marketing and management of a special Cape Ann license plate, education and training, strategic planning and action, scholarships and grants to qualifying charitable organizations serving Cape Ann. The Foundation will disperse funds through grants and as educational scholarships.
