Erik educated us about the different types of wood for the chairs, the different designs in terms of comfort, and provided us the best customer experience throughout the process of selection of the chairs. He helped us select the right stain for the chairs as we had our dining table (made of reclaimed Chestnut wood) made from a different store. Eric worked with us on getting the right stain to go with the dining table (even before the table was made). It was an informative and excellent experience working with him. “I went to Yankee Fireplace expecting good service and Harry did not disappoint. Knowing nothing about gas "wood" stoves, I only knew I wanted a Vermont Castings model. Harry showed us the stoves on the floor and brochures with other models and colors. He asked good questions about placement and rooms in our house to determine what could work for us. We changed our minds several times about the stove size, color, venting options and Harry patiently emailed proposal after proposal. The one hiccup we had was the day before the installation we got a call saying our stove was back ordered and no idea when one would be delivered to the store. Obviously someone must have known sooner than the day before and now we were being told!!?? We had arranged to take the day off from work, moved furniture and rugs, and were ready to go. Four weeks later with some nagging from us, we had a seamless installation. Everyone from the sales, site visit and installer were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks to YF we are enjoying cozy nights by the fire!”
