“I had a great experience with movers Joel and Andy today. They were efficient annd methodical…and didn’t waste any time in getting the job done. My move was to a storage unit which can be tricky because of the true undetermined size of the storage unit/items. They put my furniture and other items in the unit like a puzzle and utilized the storage space effectively to get all my things in…and even left me requested space for future items. Nice guys as well and zero damage to my house or items. I’m glad I went with them. Reasonable prices too.”

From the time I spoke with Durand Watkins, our moving agent from Imlach, on the phone he put my mind COMPLETELY at ease and just 'took control' my stress levels went from a 10 to a 1!! His follow up calls ensuring moving dates, prices, and all the info we needed were extremely helpful. The followup calls from Shauna and Keri were extremely thoughtful and showed the concern this company has for its customers and excellence of service!We used Imlach movers in 2009 when we moved from Michigan to Colorado in the dead of winter and snow storms, used them to come Back to Michigan in 2018 (Durand was our agent then also), and when we decided to move from Upper Michigan to Phoenix, during the heat of the hottest summer on record, the Imlach team got our belongings there safe and sound! THREE TIMES using them have been an excellent experience. They care about their customers and the excellence of service is outstanding.Now a word about the driver and his team he hired in Michigan, then again in Phoenix. John Brown! He's the MAN!! He kept in touch by phone calls and let us know the status of pick up and delivery. He and his team had us packed up and then unpacked and NOT ONE SINGLE THING WAS BROKEN!! They were extremely courteous and fast!! Also i would like to mention the pricing was very reasonable for the move(s) also. “They are top notch. I called the company hotline and they hooked me up with their lowest price, set up my appointment and my rental, reserved it for me and went above and beyond. I've used Penske 3 times in other towns and their competitor Uhaul. I will tell you with all certainty, that Penske cares about you with their business, it reflects on their care and pricing, Uhaul does not. My storage unit in Kalamazoo, Michigan was owned by Uhaul and they wouldn't cut me any deals nor work with me in the timing for the move much less any refunds they owed me. Penske, not knowing me at all, honored them all and deducted some of my cost. They also were willing to give me extended time for free if I needed it. They are full of high integrity. They won my respect three times now. Always rising above and beyond. No matter what town or what staff, it's always been a great WOW experience! I will always use Penske from now on.”

“Update 9/14/16 So glad to change my review after hearing personally from the new owner. As we talked and I explained I had written this review in the heat of a bad moment while at my unit; things had looked so sad. Not knowing the former owner was responsible for the disrepair; I was pleased that the new one was concerned enough to call me and let me know all the wonderful new updates he has made. He is very excited about the facility and I wished him well. I give him 5 stars for the excitement and future plans. Very nice man. I have been a long time renter for personal storage and have also used this facility for business storage, at one time using 3 units. I like the environmentally controlled units which also had an irritatingly noisy pest control but it worked. Never had any critters. That was when it was under a different owner/management. Yesterday, we went to our storage unit to remove some items and just check in on things since we had not been there over the winter. I was very unhappy with the state of disrepair in the parking lot; one of the exterior doors was not locking properly giving me concern about security; no lights came on upon entry and only by accident discovered the lights are motion detectors... but only if you enter through a different door. In my opinion, the place looks like an abandoned property. No one is on site to talk to. I did call and speak to someone about security concerns and explain I found evidence of critter encroachment in my unit. While assured that someone would be dispatched to check things out, I was not very confident in any speedy solution. Probably will not keep my unit there and will not recommend this place to any friends unless there is major remedial action soon.”

“This is a small family owned business and the owners were a pleasure to deal with and worked to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. The unit was clean and relatively inexpensive. Be aware though that the body shop that sits in front of the entrance frequently has vehicles sitting in a manner that partially obstruct the entrance and prevents anything much larger than a full-size pick-up from entering.”
