“Family Fare is one of the local groceries stores. They keep them clean and well stocked, and except for the busy tourist season, Mondays can be slim picking for some items.Family Fare always is higher priced than some of the larger stores in the area, but it's convenient and close by.”
“Don’t rely on this place to be open for gas or booze .. would’ve spent probably $250+ but showed up 2 minutes after 8 and it’s a no go here.. fair enough, it’s closing time; but I doubt this place will survive closing so early with employees that apparently can’t help out or do anything after 8:00.**Update: This is a very nice place and we appreciate them being there. I was very upset at the time of the original review; having 4 empty snowmobiles it would’ve saved a lot of hassle if they could’ve just turned on the pumps a couple minutes after closing. Their hours are clearly marked and I was late, not having call ahead, that’s on me. They didn’t deserve a negative review but had the employee sacrificed a little bit to help me out they would’ve received a $50 tip and this would be a 5 star. I apologize for my original review and this is a better and fair reflection of the business.”
“Awesome lil store close to the Ausable River with an incredible liquir selection. They were the first place I had found in the states that carried my wife's favorite whiskey from Ireland. We stock up every time we go there!”
“The lead Pharmacist at this location is wonderful. I have a prescription that is slightly embarrassing, and he fills it for me without making a big deal about it. I’ve unfortunately felt humiliated at another location, so his kindness and maturity means a great deal to me. He also gave me a flu and Covid vaccine without any pain. I am incredibly grateful for this pharmacy and the head Pharmacist.”

“This new DG Market is awesome and really is a great addition to the area. The layout of the store is similar to other stores with the exception of the “market” which is along the right side when you walk into the store. The market had fresh open coolers with fruit and bag salads kits, including other produce and packaged meats. It was organized and I loved that it had all the lights working, making for a bright shopping experience. I noticed a different review stating computers were not working; During my visit there were no issues with computer systems, registers were working just fine. I visited Labor Day weekend.”

“Today I went in to do some last minute shopping on MLK day and the people working were fantastic and honestly life savers! I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant and was starting to get light headed while in check out, I let the cashier know and she very quickly got me a chair to sit down and the staff was very helpful and understanding. Thank you so much to everyone that helped me, I'm truly grateful! They have the most wonderful staff!”
